Stayed here for one night during a recent car tour of France. Our room was clean and comfortable but the whole feel of the place is very dated. I had booked two nights over the internet and got a special rate. I only wanted one night and so after a conversation with the manager he advised that he could not give a credit but would give us a free breakfast and free parking. A reasonable trade off as I was in error. The receptionist encouraged us to use their restaurant for our evening meal, and so with very wet weather, the decision was easy. I have never known or experienced such slow and rude service in my life. The head woman smiled all the time but never delivered with drinks or bread. The young waitress had a definite attitude problem in that customers were just an inconvenience to her and the kitchen seemed incapable of delivering anyone's food in reasonable time scales. Christophe the manager was well aware of this situation as twice I beckoned him to deliver drinks and bread. He appeared to have little or no control over the staff he managed.
Never, ever again
