Hotel very accessible to the sanctuary, Lourdes bath. Very convenient to go back as one wishes anytime, even early morning. Surrounded by Stores and restaurants. Hotel staff are very courteous, helpful, accommodating. The rooms though needs some renovations but comfortable enough. Pillows are not soft. Buffet breakfast is delicious, filling, appetizing. Will consider staying here again.

Location is great, just at the entrance of the sanctuary.
Friendly and helpful staff.
The pillows were thick and hard. We did not sleep well the first night. We asked for softer pillows the next day and two nice pillows were delivered to us within minutes.

The first thing to say is that the staff were exceptional in their readiness to be of service, and charitably allowed me to stumble along in French. They greeted us each time we re-entered the hotel with a smile and comment (Merci especiallement a Emmanuelle). The room was well-designed, with the toilet and bidet located in a separate room from the shower and sink. All were scrupulously clean. We were a mere five-minute stroll down to the Basilica and Grotto; so close that we felt comfortable walking back to the Hotel in the dark under the street lights. The food in the little cafe was good and ample, and the servers very sweet. Because everything was so well-attended to we felt at peace in out hotel, keeping with us the peace we found at the Grotto.

Friendly hotel with good location. Very near to shrine, baths. Stayed off peak in march. One of the very few hotels open. Booked 2 rooms - double and twin with half-board through their website. There was a mix up as I made 2 reservations, as the online system didn't allow me to select the days for half-board. Despite this being sorted out upon check in, there was still confusion the next day and we had to wait hungrily till the restaurant again sorted this out with reception. After this was sorted, our stay was very pleasant. Rooms were small, a bit dark but clean. Written information about hotel services could be more forthcoming - e.g. what number to dial for operator, room to room etc, times for meals, opening/closing times for hotel restaurants etc. Half-board meals were of good value and portions (4course for dinner). Liz at the reception was very efficient and helpful.

Hotel has extremely good location - very near shrine, baths, cathedral, stations of the cross and souvenir shops etc especially if you don't want to spend too much time walking to and from the grotto. Try the little cafe next to the hotel which serves very good crepes and ice cream!

Overall had a pleasant and comfortable stay and will stay again if visiting.

Room Tip: High floor is quiet. Corner twin room bigger than double

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in with staff going that extra mile to make you comfortable, I do not speak French at all, and the staff were so helpful and multilingual, the food was excellent, the hotel is clean and the toilets/Bathroom is spotless. Even though I travelled alone, the staff were really friendly and so helpful in every way. They make you feel very welcome.
A special thank you to Dany who helped me so much with my booking, Liz - it was lovely meeting you, Paula who was a ray of sunshine and Ben who was so patient even though I could not follow what he was saying, and communicated so well.
I will definately be going back to this hotel again next year.
Thank you all for making my trip a memorable one.

the hotel staff were very good and helpful and multilingual, the food were excellent, it was a 4 course meal and you have a choice of the main course( 2 types of main course eg. lamb or fish).
only problem for us was not enough light in the room, compare to the their lounge or restaurant.

The hotel is very close to the sanctuary, less than 2 minutes. it is a good place to stay if you are a pilgrim.

we enjoyed our stay there.

Room Tip: book 3 months before your arrival and get 30% off room price, but non refundable if you take this of...

The room was extremely small, old & not comfortable at all. It does not deserves a 3 stars as listed. They need to renovate the sleeping rooms. However, the dining room & lounge areas were spacey & nice. Staff were cordial. The location is excellent as it is only a few steps to the Immaculate Conception of Mary statue & the church.

Room Tip: If you want a basic room & good location for less than 100 euros in the winter season (as most o...

Dear Sir,
We would like to thank you for sharing your experience. We know that the European standard rooms are not the same as in the Usa, and the rooms are a bit smaller than the ones in North America, so that it is a real 3-Star Hotel. However we can understand your disappointment and we could have arranged another room, maybe you didn’t ask for at the desk and we couldn’t have helped you in this matter. We are really upset because our staff was training for assisting you, and making your stay comfortable.
We hope that you will remind the cordiality as well as the location of the hotel, very close to the Grotto. We will be very pleased to welcome you during your next trip to Lourdes. Best regards. Sophie
