We had lunch here during a short visit to Rocamadour. Everything was closed in the small Rocamadour and we were very happy to find this little restaurant.
It was a sunny day in February and we enjoyed very much the outdoor setting (you have to go inside the restaurant as the outdoor setting is in the back).
The food was delicious (must try the casserole). The prices were good to low (they have some interesting menus).
The service was average, but did not spoil our good mood.
Strongly recommend it.

“Good location, average food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 December 2012

We went to Chez Anne-Marie because we didn't expect the neighbouring restaurant of the Best Western hotel was fully booked. It's close to the steps for the churches of Rocamadour. We got what we paid for.

“Nice colours, but cool waiters”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 November 2012

We got attracted by the colourful decoration during our rainy trip in Rocamadour. The dish (Cassoulet) was very tasty and good price quality. But the waiter was very cool at the beginning. But when most of the guests left the restaurant, the waiter started smiling and telling jokes, and was very charming. A strange but positive change. A pity he doesn't have that attitude during his whole service.... So food OK, service can be much better.

“The 10 minute lunch--wish I could come back”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2012

Sept 27, 2012

It is difficult to rate a resto based upon a lunch eaten in 10 minutes. With an impending reservation at Gouffre de Padirac at 2:30, we got a decent tour of the upper and middle sections of the ancient pilgrimage city Rocamadour but shortshrift on our lunch. After a cursory search, we settled upon Chez Anne-Marie, located in the touristy main pedestrian mall. I had a Rocamadour cheese plate with honey and walnuts and shared a duck confit with my wife. By the time the food arrived we had only ten minutes before rendezvousing with the others. Both dishes were probably excellent, but wasted on us because of the time limitation and demand for the tab (23€).
We sat on the terrace with a limited view of the church and Hotel de Ville. I would love to return and see what else was available to order and enjoy the ambience.

“I'm still drooling”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2012

I was worried after reading some negative reviews but the only other option for dinner seemed packed and uninviting. So we sat outside. The waitress was all smiles, my choice of food terrific: their 'manchons de canard' turned out to be the crunchiest, tastiest duck-leg drumsticks I ever tasted. And near the restaurant, at the bottom of the Grand Escalier, there's a stand that sells unusual ice cream flavors like Vin de Cahors (the regional 'black' wine) and Rocamadour (their highly addictive local goat cheese). Try them both, I'm still drooling.
