Beautifully cooked steak, they cook it right in front of you.. it's almost like they are teasing your taste buds before it is served. I can't stop thinking about how good the steal is... it's 3am the next day.

We arrived here with our friends after our euro match at 17:30. This place was one of the businesses open all day during Euro 2016. The owner simply got it that there is additional opportunity to make profit and we appreciated it greatly. We were hungry and desperately looking for a high quality place that opens before 19:30. We were lucky to find La Braisiere.
The staff is very professional and friendly. We were serviced by a waiter who spoke fairly good English after we mentioned we have difficulties with the French menu and would need some help. She advised on meals and was really efficient. We (4 adults) shared two excellent starters - tartar and cold foie gras. All of us went for 200g filets/ steaks with different sauces. These are served with potatoes and salad in big pots. For desserts we had 2x creme brûlée and 2x profit rolls. 4 big bear, 1 small, 2 cappuccinos, tap water for free. There were green olives for free and unlimited amount of bread. Our bill was 179 Euro for 4 people so we ended up with 200 Euro including tip. We can recommend this place to all visitors of Toulouse. Steaks are made on fire. With care and love. You can watch it. Sitting inside and outside is possible. It is worth of booking a table or coming very early.

A friend from Toulouse took us to this restaurant. It is one of his favorites. Many of the main course choices are grilled over a wood fire. One of the specialties is duck. It did not disappoint. There were about 14 people in our party, and half of us ordered the duck breast. It was delicious, perfectly cooked, and we really enjoyed it. The starter salad I had was also excellent. All main courses are served with fried potatoes and a salad - both served family style. There was plenty for everyone. The service was very good - I think it helped that we had our friend who is French with us to chat with the waitstaff.

This is the second time here and I enjoyed it as much as the first. Had Ravioli to start which was delicious then the fillet with pepper sauce and the Ille Flottant to finish. Plenty of bread given throughout and good wine too. Nice atmosphere too. 5 min walk from Palais du Justice tram stop and maybe 5 mins from Place Du Capitole.

Will be back again!

The perfect place to eat great food at a reasonable price. We had a great beef grill , wonderfull taste. Try the café gourmand, you will have a very pleasant surprise at the end of your meal.
I warmly recommend it.
