We booked a superior room which was a good size (for France) with a very comfortable bed and a well appointed modern bathroom. The reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful & the hotel had several of its own leaflets to help you enjoy the delights of Toulouse. We didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment on that. The location a few mins from the Jean D'Arc airport bus stop and metro station is also near the main shopping areas, but in a quiet side street.

We stayed in this hotel in October 2011. It was centrally located in the old part of the city & therefore easy to get to restaurants and shops. We were on our way to Paris at the end of the trip & just staying one night & leaving very early in the morning so unfortunately we missed out on breakfast. The room was clean and a reasonable size and as I got sick there & had to spend most of the time in bed I was very grateful that the bed was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Toulouse.

We stayed two nights over new year. We thought it was a really good hotel especially when considering the price. It is well located and within walking distance from the town square and restaurant district. The staff were nice and helpful. We had a king size room (304) which was spacious.
As no hotel is perfect there were a few concerns, for instance you can hear people walking down the stairs and light comes under the door, so perhaps this room is not ideal for light sleepers. Although overall it was pretty well insolated and there was no noise from the outside.
Overall, good stay and we will come again!

We stayed at this hotel around the middle of October 2011. It's a nice hotel in a great central location - close to restaurants, shopping, the square, all within easy walking distance. We had a little difficulty locating the Victor Hugo parking lot (even using our GPS), but did eventually find it and it was also within walking distance of the hotel (using luggage with wheels).

There is a small elevator that accommodates one person at a time with luggage (or 2 without), but it was very much appreciated. Our room was a "superior" room in which we paid €99 per night. It was very nice, very clean and a good size. The bed was a true king size bed and very comfortable. Nice bathroom with a good bathtub/shower. Electric shutters on the window, and there is safe in the room which is bolted down.

We were not on the street side so we had no street noise at all. Which was a good thing as there was construction going on in the streets surrounding the hotel. The only noise we did hear, due to the hardwood floors, was the sound of people walking around in the room above us.

Only negatives to the room were that the lighting is a bit dim for reading, and the room was a little warm. I noticed that on their literature they say that they turn the a/c off in September. I asked the front desk about it, and they said it had not been turned off and that it should be working, however it wasn't. Would also like to see new hairdryers where you don't have to continually hold the button in for it to work (very minor annoyance).

Staff was absolutely wonderful. Hanna and Kevin were both very friendly, helpful and accommodating, and both spoke French and English.

Toulouse is a lovely city, and if we ever return, we would definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

Two restaurants that we highly recommend for dinner: Le Sans Mensonge, which we happened upon and then discovered later it was rated #2 in TripAdvisor. Excellent service and very good food. We sat downstairs in a wine cellar looking environment, very cozy. The other restaurant that we absolutely loved was La Regalade at 16 Rue Gambetta. We happened upon this little gem on our second night in Toulouse. It is owned and operated by the chef and his wife. Very friendly, so welcoming and excellent food & atmosphere.

Great location very close to Place de Capitole as well as the metro and airport bus. The rooms are relatively small but comfortable and spotless. They are well equipped with a minibar and a safe plus free wifi. The staff were very helpful, giving advice and making a restaurant booking. Very good value for money.

Not able to book the usual hotel that I had stayed previously. This hotel is more expensive (about 20% more), and the breakfast almost 50% more than the previous hotel. However, the variety is much better, and I would say, more value for money. However, the rate of topping up of the food can be improved.

The room is relatively large with twin super single beds joined together. The sleep is good, and I am able to open the window and blinds for fresh air.

The TV programmes are mostly in French (which I know noughts), although there were 3 channels in English (all news programme). Thus watching the TV prior to sleeping is rather boring.

However, this hotel is close to the Capitole and numerous eating establishments are within walking distance.

The hotel is centrally located and within 5 minutes walk of the airport shuttle bus stop and the metro. The room was small, but such is the norm in French cities. However, the room was tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom.
The hotel staff were polite, efficient and knowledgeable.
It is a perfect base from which to explore Toulouse.
