“Lovely hotel ”
Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed staying at Hotel de Brienne. The room was clean and it is located within walking distance of the city.

The staff we came across were very helpful, and spoke English quite well.

Parking is at no charge in their garage, Wifi was strong, and there were quite a few restaurants nearby to choose from.

Wanted a 4-star hotel therefore chose Hotel de Brienne. It is not a bad hotel but definitely not a 4-star. Limited supplies were available in the room. Room is OK for a short stay only as it is too small.
The bathroom smelled mold but of course you cannot see it as it has black tiles. This is the trend nowadays for hotels to have black tiles so you cannot see the dirt and the mold. Fortunately the smell of mold gives it away. I tend to stay away from hotels with black tiles and poor lighting; it’s all design to hide their lack of proper cleaning.
The staffs at the reception are excellent; they are friendly, very helpful and professional.

Quality hotel with welcoming and efficeint reception.

Rooms are well presented and furnishings of good quality. Comfortable beds, free wi-fi, tea/coffee and good TV. Only minus - dimensions of room, but not too important for one night stay.

Car park is a bonus, but entrance needs careful negotiation.

Would visit again and recommend for short stay.

Room Tip: Rooms at rear could be quieter, but very little traffic in this area at night.

Excellent hotel. Homely, stylish and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Just 15-minutes walk to the centre of town. Excellent location for access to the airport. Free parking in a garage under the hotel but I'd recommend parking on the road to avoid the narrow spaces in the hotel car park.

Very modern comfortable hotel. Room was compact but well appointed and in a nice location only a short walk to downtown Toulouse and easy walking to key town sites. Friendly professional and helpful staff with excellent English. A little more expensive than some hotels we stayed in but still good value for money. Breakfast is very good and good value especially if you want something more substantial than a croissant and coffee. Good in-room wi-fi. Some good restaurants nearby as well as a Carrefour City almost next door (handy for a bottle of wine or three, and snacks).

This hôtel is well worth the money, with well appointed rooms; including comfortable bedding and amazing shower. The secured parking is conviently located behind the hôtel. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the staff even packed up my daughters stationary and clicked all her together in a cute circle - a jesture which i found very sweet! À short but lovely walk to the city centre which was spent by admiring the stunning history and architecture of the buildings.

Good hotel run by great staff. Check in was easy and simple. The room was a nice size, amazing bed and great wifi connection. The shower / bathroom was large, clean and modern.

There is a small bar with access to a outside area to enjoy your morning coffee or a evening drink. It is a 10 min walk to downtown Toulouse including the main shopping area, Capital building etc.

I would stay at this hotel again if I return to Toulouse
