While been again in Toulouse my standard choice has been fully occupied and due to location I made this choice. The only annoying topic is the traffic jam in the morning heading all in the same direction. All other important things have been fine so I would stay there again.

The small appartments are great, spacious and very comfortable. We arrived on our bikes and with double carriageways it was a bit of a nightmare to get there. The man at the reception desk was ultra helpful and printed us a great bike route to get back to Toulose the next day which was a life saver, he really took care over it, writing extra annotations to help us further. The evening meal at the place wasn't that appealing but there is a good pizzeria very near by, a good bakery, a couple of oriental restaurants and a supermarket so we were happy. If we came to Toulouse by car we would definitely stay here again

I liked the hotel: comfortable, spacey, modern. The staff is polite and helpful. I asked to overstay for one hour and my request was not denied. The pool was really refreshing in a very hot afternoon. The breakfast is a bit expensive but you have quite a good choice.
The only drawback is their location. If you did not come by car and cannot afford a taxi for your trip to the downtown Toulouse, you'd better look elsewhere. The metro is 30-minute walk away. It's 10 minutes by bus, but the bus runs every 45-50 minutes, and the latest service is before 8 pm. Keep it in mind.

I've been in this hotel / residence twice, once for a 3 weeks period and the second for a 2 weeks period.

- A true "must" of this place is the type of buildings for guest accomodations: if you are lucky you'll get a place in a bungalow with parking in front of its door and window in front of the open-air hotel swimming pool with your own dehors with a table and chairs. It has no price. The T1 apartment which I usually reserve is enormous, LCD TV is large and movable on a desk big enough to work with laptop, eat and watch tv at the same time. Service is timely, dedicate and one of the politest I've seen all over the world.
The rooms are also cleaned-up very effectively, parking is reserved and free. There is a tennis facility I've never used. No more than 3 minutes from Thales and parc La Ramèe.

- No restaurant, wifi internet is free but has a very limited bandwidth ( measured around 30Kbytes/s ),

The Diane is in general a pretty nice place to stay. The rooms are spacious, with a small kitchen, and are pretty comfortable. The breakfast is OK as French hotel breakfasts go; traditional rather than international.
The big drawback of the Diane is the huge traffic queue that builds up heading to the Ave du General Eisenhower; it can easily take 30 minutes to make the journey that took 2 minutes when you arrived the night before.
Also, as with many French hotels, there is no restaurant as such. I can understand that with a range of good local restaurants the hotel would find it hard to attract business, but when you arrive and just want a quick meal before bed, this is an issue. The hotel does offer pizza or paella dishes from the microwave, which is better than nothing, but only just.
