We stayed in this fine place for one night, Dec 18th, only but I must say we were very enthusiastic already from the start of the stay and through the end. The only disappointment was truly that we had to leave this place...
We sure will be back in this hotel on our next stay in Toulouse.
The hotel is situated on an awesome, central little pedestrian round place with an old caroussel and a water fountain at its centre.
From the airport to the center we chose to go by shuttle bus, because we had plenty of time, as we arrived at 09am and with very little luggage. The bus is called "Tisseo" and costs 5 euro/pers (the ride is about 25min).
The closest stop from the hotel is called Jean Jaures. Then the "Place Wilson" is at 250 metres away.
As we arrived very early, we did not of course excpect our room to be ready of course but the reception staff took charge of our luggage with no problem, gave us maps and all info about what to see in the city.
They kindly told us we could expect the room to be ready at about 11am. And we left for our tour.
We had booked an excecutive room and were given a suite.
Two words: HOW FANTASTIC !! (check the photos we took)

We choose to eat out to taste the southwestern French cuisine
I'll post another review for the place we went, called "Les copains d'abord"(Friends first), called after a song by George Brassens, one of the most famous French singers.

So we only had breakfast in the hotel: a little pricy for a breakast, I could say, but the "all you can eat" buffet was made out of the freshest products you might ask for and coffee freshly served to each and every one as we arrived in the restaurant. So it was worth the 16euro/pax.

Centrally located with easy access to Metro and train stations. Reception very effficient and friendly.

Modern, comfortable and quiet bedroom with walk in shower.

Breakfast copious and well presented.

Would definitely return.

Brasserie Capoul next door not up to standard for food. Try elsewhere.

Room Tip: 112 faces internal courtyard and is quiet.

This hotel is very easy to find on palace Wilson and offered a good location from which to base ourselves for exploring the pink city. The room was very modern and comfortable, although the shower didn't drain very well and flooded the bathroom area as a result.

We stayed here for the first time last month and had a lovely overnight stay in a smart, clean and very good location,so much so that we decided to return and do it again a few days before Christmas.I contacted the hotel and asked if it was possible to have a nice view from the room and when we arrived we got just that.Great hotel, lovely staff, well done and we will be back.

Originally I'm from Toulouse, but now I live abroad. As such finding a hotel place Wilson was important to me as it is the center of Toulouse, next to the place du Capitole.
I hesitated because I'd rather use the Pullmann, but picked Novotel for the location.
I have to say i was very agreable surprised by the amenities and the services, paired with the price. So i would do again.

The hotel locates in a good area where many restaurant and shops are around. The bus stop from the airport and two metro stations are close to the hotel. The room is very clean with big TV but there is no free wi-fi.

The other reviews here which comment on the bad odor in the lobby are accurate. By the fourth day my gag reflex was triggered every time I walked in the front door. We were given -- literally -- the worst room in the hotel. Our view was a concrete wall and a roof and it was a long walk to get there.

The hotel can cause closterphobia because the hallway ceilings are so low and the rooms so small. Terribly small. International travelers who speak english only have five television channel options including Russia TV and Al Jazera. Most of the time the channels did not work anyway. No movies or movie channels.

The good? Not much. I guess if I had to say something nice it would be that the hotel is in a good location if you're in town to walk the old streets, alleyways, and take in the sites like the Capitole, Couvent des Jacobins, etc. The park across the street from the hotel is very nice and the pizza restaurant out front was the best food we had in all of France. Very good.

The staff was nice enough but looked at us helplessly when we asked for change or made any other basic requests other than calling a cab.

Next time, we're staying at the Crowne Plaza.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the park.
