I could not fault the position or the facilities for a standard business hotel. The rooms were small but comfortable and appropriately equipped - great hairdryer but no shower cap which is odd in a room with only a shower. Housekeeping was good and everything was very clean. But the reception staff were remarkably unhelpful. Most of our trip had been organised but we wanted to do that basic city tourist thing - the city coach tour (there are no brochures of any kind in the lobby). The reception staff were unable to tell us how to book, could not book for us etc. All this was done in an instant at the Tourist Information Centre (why didn't they just tell us to go there?) I wanted to join the Accor loyalty programme and despite the sign on the desk saying that I could join here free - they didn't know what I was talking about. I could go on….. So if you want a great location and good accommodation but nothing else, this is your place.

Hotel physical layout/room and lobby were fine and in a great location. Staff and training was dreadful. We had a housekeeper who left the room wide open with passport, money, and expensive electronics out and visible. We returned to the room and walked right in with no one in sight either in the room or the hallway. When the housekeeper returned she did not challenge us to see if we belonged in the room. The front desk staff are never at the front desk, always back in their office. Room service was out of everything we asked for. When I asked where we could get a baguette as room service could not supply they told us to go to Victor Hugo market. Only problem was it was 2PM and the market was CLOSED. It was raining and they could not give us an umbrella. I tried to get a drink at the bar and the bartender, surprise, was back in an office so I had to go back of house to find him. We asked for restaurant recommendations and front desk staff said they had none. We asked them to call and make reservation at a restaurant we picked and they tried but said no one answered the phone (we subsequently called ourselves and booked). The tea and coffee in the room is a nice (but fairly standard) amenity. We had some the first morning and it was not replaced. We called and asked it to be replaced and they wanted to send room service tea instead of a replacement tea bag so we could brew our own. In general for a four star hotel with an international brand the level of English from staff was TERRIBLE! The personnel and training manager and general manager should be fired immediately to have staff that badly trained.

This is a very modern hotel in an historic area. Some of the front desk speaks English. There is a car park very close and you can temporarily park in the taxi area right across from the entrance while unloading you baggage. The restaurant has great salads and the bar is a beautiful old dark wood. It was nice to have a salad after indulging so much for 2 weeks.

This hotel is clean and functional. It is quiet and an easy ten minute walk to the train station. There are many restaurants and shops nearby and the area seems safe to walk in. The rooms are decorated in a minimalist style. A few more hooks and towel bars would make the room more comfortable.

Stayed here for 1 night.
Simple but comfortable.
Breakfast was good - nice buffet

Well located of the restaurants around the Capitole square area.

There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is a 10 or 15 minute walk to the train station and 5 minutes to the main square, in a very nice area of the city. The walk to the navette going to the airport is maybe 5 minutes away, on the same street as the hotel. All in all, a perfect location.

The staff was congenial and helpful. Reception always had someone who spoke excellent English. Internet service was available at a computer in the lobby, and it worked well. I presume they also had wifi.

The room was clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. It was a bit small for American standards, but the nice layout made it very comfortable, and it featured a nice overstuffed chair and excellent reading light. It also had a fridge, complimentary water daily, an electric kettle, and an assortment of teas and instant coffee.

I stayed there 4 nights and found it a very convenient site for visiting Toulouse and the nearby towns of Carcassonne and Albi.
