I've just spent 3 nights at La Balcon and it is pretty hard to fault. This is a very slick mid range boutique hotel about 100 feet from La Capitol. Great location for the museums, cathedrals and shopping. Very clean, great room cleaning, free wifi, glam Loewe TV with many English Channel options. Most importantly, at night the room was cool, dark and totally quiet. My only complaint is that the (two) basins are rather small and there is no place to store your wash bag. As for the 'there is no restaurant' comments below: If you are really a fan of hotel restaurants then perhaps Toulouse isn't for you. The food is amazing! BTW, the Abbiotoir museum is largely closed until the end of October, and just a shell of it is there. Good luck!

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of August. The hotel was very quiet, clean, modern and comfortable. The room had a great view over the small side street which was great for people watching. The bed was really comfortable and it was a calm room. We ordered room service for a drink before heading out which was quick and relatively inexpensive. The hotel is ideally located to explore all sides of the city. We enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a rom higher up and with a balcony.

The decor, comfort and style here are great forvthose who like minimalist style. Large comfy bed with good lghts toread by and a basin in the room as well as the ensuite - which had a lovely steel bath and useful shower head. A balcony looking out from the 3rd floor was great to watch passers by and the bar was relaxing late at night. Breakfast fine - but a touch extravagant given you can have a great one nearby. But for location and comfort we will definitely be back. Great value through Trip Advisor as well.

Room Tip: Room 322 for a special occasion is where Saint Exupery himself has stayed.

We spent two nights here very tricky to drive to as there were road works everywhere. The hotel is located just off the main square,we had a delux room which was nice with a good ensuite with bath and separate shower. The hotel has a bar where you can get breakfast but did not have a restaurant however did have room service ??. The tourist is in the main square and for 1 euro you can buy a booklet which details a number of excellent walking tours in the area which include recommended museums etc .

The hotel is a great location, very modern and clean. However what we paid for the room does not rival hotels we have stayed in before for the same price. Rooms are modern but small- no balcony- am glad we stayed only one night.
Breakfast cost 36 euros and it was nice but was not worth the money- you'd be better to seek breakfast at one of the local cafes.
I personally feel for the price you'd find other local hotels that are better- larger rooms, a warmer atmosphere- we stayed at the balcon for one evening a part of our honeymoon trip- it was not special enough to reccomend as a place to celebrate a special occasion.

Beautiful themed boutique hotel with great rooms. Location is first class right on the main square and close to everything of interest. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely has an upmarket feel.

We enjoy staying here when we make our Toulouse stop over. Nicely designed rooms with great amenities, including a Nespresso machine in the room. It is centrally located just off the Capitol and concierge service makes sure that your every request is met: a perfect recipe for return business.
