“Boutique hotel on a budget. Near Stations / Airport Shuttle. 50 Euros single room (Ensuite)”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

I usually stay in cheap b and bs / feauture based hotels, that are budget and in the lonely planet guidebook. I didn't have one, and couldn't find much on their online site for budget options in Toulouse for a 1 night stay - with easy access to shuttle bus to the airport early in the morning. Single rooms are small (mainly corner rooms in the hotel, I think) , but neat / good furnishings / great shower etc. Easy online booking ... lovely receptionist in mornings ... early check in given to drop bag off and maximise site seeing day. Swift check out. TV (with only english news channels). Interesting building - 4 floors, around an atrium. Ibis next door was 70 euros (and others around similar or more) whether a single or couple - better value at grand new orleans! RE comments about area - all true - but I walked back in at about 830 and it was fine ... had a drink in the connecting bar. bakery next door for 90 cent croissant in the am. Only suggestions are small - get someone to carry bags up the first few steps to the lift .. or offer help. And some instructions by the free computer re network passwords / how to get the @ symbol would be useful! Very good find.

Room Tip: Smokers up on the roof terrace (not a nice roof terrace) - so avoid if not a smoker. 1st floor / ar...

Very pleased with our experience. I needed a place to stay close to the train station. Perfect location for my daughter and me. Friendly staff. Loved the atrium and quiet room. Easy to relax and feel comfortable.

Very good quality/price
The rooms are small but you have a great TV, good bed, and good bathroom.
The staff is very friendly.
The hotel is near to train station.
The only downside is that the area is dirty and many are homeless

I was looking for a hotel near the station. I found this hotel offering a half board deal.
The first night dinner was in the hotel restaurant which was good.
It appears that the restaurant is CLOSED on Friday so I was offered by the receptionist ( these were the instructions she got) a lousy meal, heated and almost uneatable.
Besides that, very friendly reception, ok rooms and clean.

I was staying in this hotel in March and I found Lily was the best help. When we arrived she was very quick checking us in and explained all the things we can do in our free time.
she recommended to visit the basilique st sernin and it was beautiful.
The rooms are okay and the location is alright too. not the nicest area but okay. we didn't hang around the hotel, too busy visiting places.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the back

as retired people we found Toulouse an easy city to walk and get about in, We visited most churches and places of interest. The plus of our break was the hotel closeness to the main train and bus station making our away trips easy, like our visit to Carcasonne .
