Saw it in a bundle of eurostar and hotel, choose it as it is close to the city center.

Located close to the eurostar station
Decent price, and good in size of room.
The cooking equipment seems good as well, a good place as an apartment.

Recommended.

I booked this hotel apartment via the Eurostar website choosing it primarily because it was so close to the train station. It's right next to EuraLille shopping centre which has lots of clothes shops, some restaurants and a huge Carrefour supermarket which is ideal for stocking up the kitchenette in the room.

The room was spacious, although the fact the toilet is in a room not adjacent to the bathroom was a little strange. The walls were a little thin but on the whole it was ok. There doesn't seem to be air con in the rooms, but they provide a fan which is great for churning around the hot air. The windows do open but you hear the noise of the traffic depending which side your room is on.

The breakfast was ok, of the continental variety - no scrambled eggs but they do have slices of ham. The staff seemed friendly enough.

I would definitely stay here again, because everything is so convenient.

One word of advice, nothing opens on Sunday except for the flea market!

We choose this hotel as my son was joining us from London on the Eurostar and arriving late. Perfect! So close to both the Eurostar and main railway station. A bit tricky to find as our GPS must have been out of date but once we got here no problem. There is no parking at the hotel entrance so you need to drop someone off and go get the car park swipe card from reception to get down into the car park which is just past the hotel, a u turn at the traffic lights and then down the ramp but it worked well. Then u take the lift from the garage to the reception and complete registration. Works well once you know but a bit stressful initially arriving Friday evening in rush hour traffic! Breakfast is basic and you could probably do better to get something nearby but we had prepaid and it is convenient. Beds comfortable with extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard. Everything a little old but clean. Wifi free and works well. You need to ask for a code at reception mono road noise but we heard the people above us scraping and banging from early am. Kitchen nicely equipped and good privacy in one bedroom apartment for our son on the lounge. Would we stay here again yes.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is not on the street side.

Very convenient location for city and transport links. Kitchen equipped with all basics, including a dishwasher, so self catering a good option, Carefour is close and shopping trolley can be borrowed from reception. Our room was unbearably hot, on the 9th floor and in full Sun. There were 2 electric fans in the room, so must be a regular problem. Cleaning and linen change is only weekly unless you pay extra!

This self-service hotel is in a great location: next to both train stations and a large shopping mall, a short walk to the lovely old town centre, and a somewhat longer walk to the Citadel and zoo. There are many restaurants nearby, or you can shop in the mall supermarket and prepare meals in the basics-equipped kitchen. The hotel offers a breakfast for 9,50 euro, but we didn't think it was worth it. Note that there is no daily housekeeping and amenities such as kleenex were not provided in our room. We slept soundly with the window closed; there was quite a bit of traffic noise with it open. All in all, it was good value and comfortable.

We were absolutely delighted to stay here. Clean. Modern (unobtrusive renovations were continuing as we were staying). Extremely convenient location: situated between the Lille Europe station (Eurostar, TGV etc) and Lille Flanders station (SNCF France) this Citadines apartment hotel was terrific. I walked to work at the Opera house in a few minutes. Our children were well entertained with the numerous good parks and the free zoo, all within a comfortable walk - even for our 2 year old.

We had a one bedroom apartment (they call it a "2 room" apartment - which means one separate bedroom and one large living room). The living room has an enormous king size sofa bed which was extremely comfortable. There is a bath - brilliant for the children - and a fairly well stocked kitchen with a microwave that had a grill feature; 2 ring hob; fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. The absence of a chopping board was annoying but not overwhelming.

We were on the 10th floor which was surprisingly quiet - though you could occasionally hear the announcements at the train station! (Not with windows shut.) Lovely views.

The laundry on the 2nd floor was perfectly adequate with 2 washing machines and a dryer. There was also a washing line over the bath.

The Citadines is also conveniently located above the Euralille shopping centre which includes an enormous Carrefour (Aussies: like Woolworiths, Brits: like Tesco) which has just about everything you could possibly need and more. It's massive and open from 9am-10pm. It was even open on Easter Monday. You'll find pharmacies, clothing stores and everything you could need in that centre.

All in all, we highly recommend this place. For a slightly longer stay when hotels become annoying, Citadines are, in France, generally a good bet.

Room Tip: Higher up and way from the main road,
