“Awesome D-Day Beaches Tour”
Reviewed 1 August 2009

I can't say enough how special our day was with our guide Auralie. She took our family on a private tour. We saw the Allied floating harbors at Arromanches, the lunar landscape of Point Du Hoc (even went into a Nazi bunker), The American Cemetery at Colleville Sur Mer, Omaha Beach, the German gun battery at Longues Sur Mer, the church at St Mere Eglise, and even the little-known German cemetery in Normandy (very dark and sad but definitely worth seeing). Our teenage daughters loved the tour. It was very moving and a day they'll never forget. Thanks NST and Auralie!

“Normandy Sightseeing Tours...D Day Beaches”
Reviewed 10 June 2009

The ONLY tour of the D Day Beaches you should consider is from Normandy Sightseeing Tours (www.Normandywebguide.com)...and the only person to guide you is Edward Robinson! I felt as though I had been there on June 6 or he had!...Ed is beyond being a tour guide....he is a student of history and therefore can paint the picture more vividly giving you an experience that is enjoyable and leaving you with a deep appreciation of what took place. He knows things that are not in the touristy guide books. Convenient and prompt pick up at your hotel, small groups (8 of us) so that questions can be answered and friends can be made during the tour. Ed is completely knowledgeable in the entire area so that if roaming the beaches of Normandy is not your cup of tea...just ask...he knows. He is personable and with a wonderful Irish sense of humor....He can let you in on where to eat well but reasonably and where to buy things reasonably. Would do this again in a heartbeat!
