We took in the afternoon tour of Omaha beach and our guide was Magali. What a fabulous experience! She is quite friendly and interesting and navigates the back roads of Normandy with ease. When one of the roads usually used was blocked, she immediately shifted into gear and found a way in (and yet, she persisted!). The trip included far more than just the beach, including the American cemetery and monument at Ponte du Loc. Magali clearly enjoys being a tour guide and helping groups of visitors (by and large Americans) to dig into the history of D-Day and its meaning.

Alain gave us an outstanding tour. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot, but he did not fill every minute with talk. There was a good balance of seeing and doing things as a group and having time to ourselves at the bigger sites.

Our OverlordTour was a moving experience, and I highly recommend it.

Yannick is so much more than a tour guide. He is a teacher, a historian, and the best storyteller I have ever seen. He told me that this is his passion, and that passion shows. We did the all day tour and it is ALL DAY - 10 hours. And Yannick kept us enthralled the entire time. He brings history to life with stories, anecdotes, insights. We totally recommend this tour.

Yannick brought D-Day to life for us, he loves his history and it made every minute of the Band of Brothers tour memorable. The diverse scope of major events blended with stories of individuals, placing them at the spot where we were standing created a sense of being 'in the moment'. He wove a tapestry of the local French farms, small towns, major battle events, the beaches, the American Cemetery and the scope of the entire operation. He is a natural story teller. My husband, a career navy veteran was extremely impressed and emotionally moved. I highly recommend this experience!

My husband and I took the full day group tour to Omaha and Utah Beach and thoroughly enjoyed it. Charles, our guide, had a deep knowledge of and obvious enthusiasm for WWII history. When we arrived at Omaha Beach it was pouring but Charles gave us all the background info in the van and then was a trooper in leading those of us who wished to go down to the beach. He even loaned his raincoat to a member of the tour. The tour includes a number of stops and sufficient time is allotted at each. We knew that the Airborne Museum in Ste. Mere Eglise and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer would be highlights for us, but the stories Charles shared made all of the sights come to life and created unexpected highlights at other stops along the way. We recommend Overlord without hesitation.
