“Delicious galette”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

Our hotel recommended Fringale and we had a lovely dinner there. The galettes were delicious. Service was friendly. The only disappointment was the unavailability of many of the non-alcoholic beverages listed on the menu

“Great galette!”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

We had a lovely evening in this restaurant. There was a good variety of food so the vegetarian and fan of French food each found food they enjoyed.

“In or out in Bayeux”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

We were 4 adults and a 10 year old. We had an evening meal which was very good and worth a visit. The service was reasonably quick and the food all well prepared and cleanly served. The choice on the menu as reasonable and had something for most people.

“Good food, Good Service (Vegetarian)”
Reviewed 6 August 2013

We got in to Bayeux in the mid-Afternoon, very tired after our flight from the United States. After walking around the town looking for vegetarian food. There was not much, but we were lucky to find this restaurant. My family got the gatelle vegetarienne and la salade du chevre chaud. Both were delicious and we were very satisfied. Also, the service was fast and friendly, and was low priced (we paid less for dinner than for three croissants and coffees at the airport). All in all, tres bien!

“Lovely and delicious”
Reviewed 20 July 2013 via mobile

We ate here on our last day in Normandy and it was a great way to end a splendid 4 days. The service was excellent and friendly, despite the fact that neither my husband or I speak French. Our servers - David and Laetitia were very nice and did a great job translating words for us and trying to describe the dishes in English. Everything came out quickly and the perfect temperature. I selected the escargot for my app - it was piping hot, tasted heavenly and there was plenty of bread to dip into the remaining sauce. My husband had the salad with toasted goat cheese. It was a huge salad and tasted wonderful. For the main course I had the scallop dish with leek fondue and my husband had the duck. We were very pleased with the portion size, taste, presentation and satisfaction of both main courses. Note that we are both foodies, so we can be a little difficult to please. Dessert was a cheese plate with local cheeses. We also had a tart and crepe - both wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant for the food, service, pleasant atmosphere, and overall dining experience. We will definitely return when we come back to Normandy.
