“A history of the Normandy Battle”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Exactly what is says on the tin! A great museum of the Battle of Normandy - from beach landings to hedgerow battles. It will get you to understand what happened in Normandy and the significance of it. Some great information and photos and a brilliant section on the war reporters - a subject I knew nothing of prior to visiting here. Well worth the couple of hours it takes to go round.

“pair this with British Cemetery”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

2010 visit. Extremely informative displays on the Normandy invasion, from the beach landings to the hedgerow battles. Good accompaniment to the British War Cemetery, which is located across the street.

Some of the tv monsters were not working but was laid out nice and we didn't have time for 25 minute movie but seeing a vet there was a great emotional event.

“it will get you to understand”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

I taught history and thought I knew ever thing until I visited the museum. the film and visiting the beaches gives you a different meaning. if you are going to see the film you must listen very carefully for the start time. they are a little hard to understand. we almost missed it.

“Unbelievable!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

This museum had so much displayed. I would allow a 2-3 hours to make sure that you see everything. It is well done in every way...the displays and the film. Very interesting!
