“The worst restaurant I have ever visited”
Reviewed 14 April 2013

One of my party made a booking at a restaurant, and we arrived at the Le P'tit Resto, looked really good, very nice menu, but they had no knowledge of our booking, they realised we had booked in to there sister restaurant the La P'tite Pause, shame we liked the look of the Resto, but we left to go to the Pause, we nearly walked past it, it looked like a hair dressers, inside there was plastic garden chairs and tables, we sat at the table and were given the menu, a lot of mashed potato here, ordered drinks, the waitress had to go over the road to get a bottle of Pastis, I ordered for starter, Fois Gras and toast, I got three slices of Fois Gras with one slice of toast, this was a slice of baguette, toasted, one slice??? One of the party had the goats
cheese salad, it was obvious that the lettuce that was served came out of a bag of chopped lettuce that had been drowned in dressing, probably while still in the bag, Ive never seen so much dressing poured over a salad. Main Course, I had duck with mashed potato, oh dear, a very wet mashed potato, mixed with duck, and then obviously rammed into a bowl or cup so when it was put on the plate resembled some sort of dome, it failed. Tasted OK, looked awful. Forgot to add, we had a four year old with us, the restaurant had some toys for him to play with, nice, but didn't do child's portions, full price for a four year old, on the menu, at eight Euros was a croque-monsieur, if you dont know what that is, its a cheese and ham toasted sandwich, so he had that, left half, The cider we ordered arrived half way through meal, after they were reminded. desert, Apple pie and cream, a good size portion of pie, with about half a teaspoon of cream served separately, another had a muffin and creme Anglais (custard) a cold chocolate muffin, with just about enough custard to drown a gnat, just. €25 a head, for apero, three course meal and cider should sound right, but this meal wasn't worth half that, Go to the P'ite Resto or some where else, pay a few euros more for a decent meal.

“Great food, thoughtful service”
Reviewed 20 August 2012

We ate here a number of times with our 2 small children. They have a really good fixed price menu which is terrific value. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. After we had ordered the waiter offered to replace the side salad with pasta for the childrens meals, which went down really well.
