The hotel's location is its greatest asset. It's right in the heart of the city center, close to all city attractions and places to eat. It's also close to alll the D-Day sites and if you'd like to sample the local Calvados and hard cider, the location is great for that too. The restuarant is always open, though the city offers a wide array of dining options. The breatfast at €9.50 is NOT worth it – very modest selection, mostly all packaged stuff and the coffee is cold (yuck). We elected after the first try to have breakfast elsewhere. The rooms are “ok” -- nothing special, but nothing bad either. We had three people in the room, paid for three people in the room and EVERYDAY had to ask for a towel for the third person. The wifi works well and is free. Drinks on the ground floor terrace are a nice thing after a long day out and about. All-in-all, a fairly average hotel at competitive prices, with a great location.
