We were here for a couple of nights as a base for exploring the D Day beaches etc. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a reasonable restaurant on site. Customers were mainly solitary businessmen.

The room was a rather garish orange decor, with an en suite shower/toilet/sink which appeared to have been fitted into a cupboard. However perfectly OK to sleep in but not to spend time in. Parts of the place seemed a bit tired eg the carpet in the public areas. Free on street parking usually available nearby or pay E4 for the hotel car park.

Location is a bit out of town, probably a 20 minute or so walk into the centre. Not much in the way of other restaurants worthwhile, at least none we fancied much. However, a perfectly adequate, relatively cheap hotel.

My mother, father and myself stayed at the hotel for 4nights while exploring town and it's surrounding historical sights. The staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean. A tea tray was also provided. The bathrooms were very spacious and again very clean.
One of the best things about the hotel was it's location, the town of Beayeux was a short drive away and the D Day beaches were near also. We were also surprised to find William the conquerers tomb in a cathedral in the town

Caen doesn't offer much as a city for young sight seers, but we were staying there as a jumping point to Normandy and Mont St. Michel. This hotel was lovely, very clean, nice but dated rooms, elevator and parking out back. The staff was lovely and very helpful with directions to the beaches of Normandy. They offered a breakfast in the morning - continental and worth the several euro. The hotel is easy to find off the peripherique. Worth the stay if you're driving through from Paris and need a stop over.

We've just returned to the UK from Caen. We were very well looked after by the small team of staff and quite frankly, have no complaints. The facility is about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Caen, where there are plenty of resturants/bars etc. We stayed in the hotel for 2 evenings - the food was very good, as was the service from the small bar. We'll return!

This was an OK hotel for our one night stay in Caen. You'll need a car or public transportation to reach the Old City, the Ducal Palace, or the Memorial Museum. It's a basic 2-star hotel, but the room was pretty small, even for a family room. It was a bit weird as the toilet was in one corner of the room, and the bathroom (clean and updated) was in the other corner. The room was clean overall, wifi was available free of charge, free parking also available on-site and free.
