We first came on a personal recommendation, and returned again last week because Briac and his team are excellent - professional, friendly and helpful. Plus, it's right in the middle of Caen and all is walkable from the hotel. Car parking is 8 Eu per day, secure, underground and opposite. We will be returning many times.

Room Tip: Ask for a front room - 203 has a balcony and a good view.

Two night biz stay. Room clean, quiet and comfortable.
Hotel centrally located. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff
were extremely helpful. Parking around the square or in
underground car park opposite hotel. Would happily stay
here again - good
value.

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, still the location is very central and most places are easily reached by foot. The hotel was easy to find despite the areas with one-way traffic. The staffs were very friendly and the breakfast was good, almost as a Scandinavian style breakfast. The hotel has Wi-Fi and it was nice to sit out door with a beer having Internet access. There were parking places near the hotel and a parking garage across the street. I enjoyed sitting out in the sun in the outdoor restaurant having a snack and a glass of beer and having a look at all the people passing by. We used the hotel as a base from where we explore the Normandy coast. It is a good place to do just that, even if one wants to explore Caen itself or to do wider tours in Normandy and Calvados. The room was clean and the right size for spending the night. The bathroom was clean and functional even though water from the shower easily entered the floor outside. The hotel staff spoke very good English and were very helpful and friendly and they answered all of our demands, from earlier breakfast to take away water bottles in the morning. I will gladly stay here again.

We chose this hotel based on the Tripadvisor rating and we found it comfortable and quiet and a nice place to stay in Caen.

It took us around 20 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel with our luggage, there is a Metro stop close by but we chose to walk rather than use public transport.
Within five minute walking distance we were able to reach Old Town and a Quick Burger restaurant on the way, 5 minutes walk through the shops takes you to the nearest Monoprix supermarket and a few minutes walk in another direction takes you to the Quayside area. The Central location of this hotel made it a great base to explore Caen and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Our room was a good size, clean, furnished in dark woods and corporate colours with a comfortable bed and located at the end of the corridor it was very quiet. In the room was a flat screen TV, air conditioning and free Wifi access available on request. The bathroom was also clean and had a spacious walk in shower almost like a wet room as the water drains to a central dip in the shower base.

All the employees we met were friendly and the male employee running the reception desk was extremely helpful throughout our stay, his English was extremely good and made our stay much easier as our French isn’t conversationally fluent.

We’d recommend this hotel to couples, families, groups and corporate visitors to the area, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and felt refreshed after a couple of good night’s sleep.

Very friendly staff at the hotel who go out of their way to help. Rooms are pretty decent for a 3 star except the shower has no door so leaks water all over the place. Bit annoying. Caen itself is amazing with lots of nice shops, bars and castles and churches which date back in history. William the Conqueror is buried here. Highly recommended for a holiday or visit and the DDay tours etc.

We will be returning for a longer stay.

Four of us used this hotel as a base for touring the WW11 landmarks and it was ideal. We experienced NO bathroom problems and it was a pleasant surprise to have tea and coffee making facilities in a French hotel!! The hotel is central (as it states!!) and therefore great for restaurants in the evening. Our room was clean and smelled fresh (unlike some Parisian hotels we have endured over the years!) and we found it to be good value overall, ten out of ten to the staff, especially those at reception! Friendly, smiling, happy and helpful Thanks to them for making a short break all the more enjoyable!

This is not a smart or chic hotel. It is functional, very clean and tidy, with all the basics that you need for an overnight stay, but few frills. My Dad and I stayed one night on our way to Deauville and it was perfect for our needs. Both rooms were fairly small but had tea and coffee facilities, a TV, a tiny en suite shower room and everything worked. (Unlike the much more expensive Hotel Normandy in Deauville, but that's for another review.....)
Breakfast was self service, canteen style, but with a good choice of food.
Staff were very helpful at all times.
I would stay here again if I was passing through or on a budget.
