“Le Clos Fleuri - wonderful little B & B in Giverny, France”

This place is a secret gem. It is charming with it's beautiful garden and grounds, wonderful room and fantastic breakfast. It was a delightful change from the hussel of Paris to find this little B & B within walking distance from Monet's home and garden. The owners could not have been more accommodating getting us tickets to the house and museum, and making dinner reservations. Definately an accomidation that deserves 5 stars in anyone's travel book.

We had a lovely stay at Le Clos Fleuri. Danielle was charming and welcoming. She gave us a tour of her own garden, which is so beautiful and lovingly kept. The room and bathroom were excellent, very comfortable, very clean and attractive. The room was very large with a table and chairs, there was a little patio with table and chairs and it's right in the middle of the garden. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The B&B is a very short walking distance from everything you want to see in Giverny. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. I heartily recommend Le Clos Fleuri.

There is not much to add to all of the glowing reviews except to say that our hostess truly went out of her way to help give my husband very detailed driving directions to avoid Paris traffic when he was headed to Germany. The room, bed, linens, water kettle with tea or coffee before a delicious breakfast - perfect! The grounds are beautiful. Very warm and gracious owners! In hindsight we should have booked 2nights here.

What a charming B&B with beautiful yard and gardens. Even more charming is Danielle who showed us to our room and around the facility with the patio outside each room and a bistro (lounge area) with kitchen for use by all guests. The Clematis room was large with sitting area and a dining area (if one wanted to eat in). It would be ideal for a family but was so enjoyed by the two of us as we relaxed after 3 weeks of travel around France--so nice to have more than a bedroom. Danielle was an incredible hostess giving us a ride into Vernon to turn in our rental and taking us to the train station the following morning. We purchased tickets for Monet gardens from her and didn’t have to wait in line at the garden. Another plus was the lovely foot path from the B&B to the gardens. Location is perfect to walk not only to gardens but to restaurants and throughout the village. Danielle was top notch! She made us feel like her personal house guests and not tourists stopping for a few nights. If you love dogs, Darwin will steal your heart. We would highly recommend a stay at Le Clos Fleuri. We stayed two nights but wished we had another night to relax and enjoy.

I can't recommend Le Clos Fleuri enough. We arrived after a long drive from Mont Saint Michel with various stop overs and were warmly welcomed by Danielle the owner. It is very easy to find turning left into the Rue de la Dime, the second house on the left. A beautiful garden awaits you as Danielle shows you to your room. The room is light and airy, very large and has coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom is spacious with various amenities and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, good coffee, croissant and baguette and jam and a big bowl of fresh fruit. Danielle can supply you with tickets to the Monet Garden and the Impressionist Museum which will save you queuing on a busy day (which is probably every day). Le Clos Fleuri is about a ten minute walk down the charming village road to the Monet Garden, or longer if you stop for all the photo opportunities. We only stayed one night but two or three nights would be better to give you time to relax in the beautiful garden and enjoy Giverny.

Room Tip: Linger a little while if you can.

What a beautiful home and gardens, but the best part was Danielle, the host. We arrived very late without our luggage and she provided toothbrushes and night wear. We stayed 2 nights and would have stayed longer, it was so peaceful, beautiful, and friendly. The room was beautiful and spacious. Danielle has tickets to the Monet gardens which we bought from her and were able to enter through the group entrance. She also helped us try to locate our luggage and lost iPad.

My friend and I have just returned form a wonderful stay in Giverney. The Clos Fleuri is the perfect base to see the fantastic house and garden of Monet (only 10mins walk) and to explore the surrounding area. The amazing Palace of Versaille is an easy 45 min drive and we were given very helpful advice from our host Danielle regarding tickets, parking etc. the accommodation is lovely, comfortable, clean and very welcoming, with a good choice for the Continental Breakfast. Danielle speaks perfect English and could not have been more hospitable. The icing on the cake was meeting Darwin, their lovely friendly little dog who loved to meet the guests. Elaine and Mandy 22nd May 2014 for 3 nights (wish it had been longer)

Room Tip: We stayed in the Clematis room which was upstairs, it was a large family room, very comfy beds, with...
