Le Clos Fleuri was just what the doctor ordered after the hustle-and-bustle of Paris. Located in the small town of Giverny, it is only an hour or so from Paris but might as well be in a different world. The driveway curves off the street into a beautifully wooded garden area with a lovely house and rooms. Danielle greeted us warmly, showed us around, gave us dinner suggestions, etc. Our room, in addition to being cleaned to perfection, was wonderfully decorated and spacious, as was the barthroom. Peacefulness reigns in this location. The included breakfast the next morning was also wonderful. Two notes- 1) They only take cash, and 2) The driveway is a bit hard to find because you must sneak up the road (which is one-way in the other direction) a few feet before you see the sign and driveway to turn into.

We recently returned from our travels in France where we stayed at Le Clos Fleuri. What a wonderful place with well-kept, lovely rooms!! Its beautiful grounds are in the perfect location to visit Monet’s home and gardens. Danielle and Claude were so friendly and accommodating in every way and breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this special home!!

Giverny is a small village hugging the base of the hill and close to the Seine. Mainly two roads with very narrow streets between.

This is the place that people go to on the weekend from Paris and there are a large number of people - without it feeling overrun. The main street is made into a pedestrian area on Saturday and Sunday. The two main attractions are Monet's house and gardens and the Art museum.

Doo go it is worth the visit and you are able to get photographs without anyone else on of the Water Lilies.

Daniel is very attentive and welcomes you with all the information you need to know. Do buy tickets from here, you miss the queues and the Art Museum is cheaper. The room is a lovely size in a separate building in the garden with seating outside to enjoy the sun and the wildlife. There is plenty of storage and seating in the room with an on suite, ideal.

We used the kitchenette in the conservatory part of the accommodation to prepare and eat salads. There is all the crockery and cutlery you could need.

Would we return, yes and discover more of the countryside. Thank you Daniel and Claude.

I've loved visiting Monet's garden at Giverny and decided I wanted to spend more time there than just a day trip. I booked into Danielle's adorable b&b for an overnight stay and I am so glad I did. It was a short walk from the shuttle bus drop off, through the pretty village streets, very easy to find. A delightful, comfy large room overlooking a peaceful garden, where you could hear the ringing of the church bells and the singing birds but not much else:) The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and decorated in French style. Danielle sold me entry tickets for the garden and advised I head over there late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds, and boy she was right. I got to enjoy the gardens without the usual horde of other visitors which was so lovely. Breakfast was delicious and traditionally French with croissants, bread, jams and chocolat chaud:) Danielle was lovely and we had a lovely long chat. I will be back again someday, not soon enough!

This was as excellent B and B right in the village of Giverny. We stayed one night after a long flight. Danielle and Claude are excellent hosts. They are welcoming and helpful to their guests needs. The room was private and comfortable with some chairs outdoors to relax in. The breakfast was typically French, fresh food and more than enough. Danielle was great as i realized that i left a personal belonging there, after we had travelled too far to go back. I emailed it to her and it was in the Poste as soon as she could to my next B and B in France.
