Our stay at La Dime more than met our exoectations. Our hosts were most welcoming and gracious. The property, a very old monastery, has within the past year been redone. The owners have maintained the integrity of the monastery, while at the same time infusing up to date amenities.
. It is very charming and puts one in the right frame of mind for a visit to Monet's hoouse and gardens. Breakfast was delightful. Wonderful pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and delicious coffee. We highly recommend a stay at La Dime de Giverny.

Excellent bed and breakfast hotel in giverny about 10 minute walk to Monets garden.
Very quiet away from the crowds but convenient to the village. Madame Bonnet greeted us with a glass of Normandy cider in the beautiful courtyard.
The room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The shower was powerful which is always good to find. Breakfast was served in The barn on the mezzanine floor, delicious breads, fruit and coffee.
Nothing was too much trouble, would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone wanting to stay in Giverny, a great find!

The building is a beautifully converted Tythe barn (in french, Dine barn) used to store the 10% of the farmers produce given to the church. The decoration in the barn has been carefully chosen to compliment the attractive wood and stone construction. Our ensuite room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served on a mezzanine floor in the barn and, in keeping with the rest of the establishment, excellently prepared and presented. The extensive grounds include a private parking area, grass recreation areas and some wild areas to promote wildlife.

Room Tip: The area is famous for its main attraction, Monets Garden. It is however close enough to Paris for s...

Quirky converted monastery with large grounds. Very quiet bedrooms with good facilities. The owners make you feel very welcome and care about their guests.

Breakfast is lovely - bread, home made jam, cereal, yoghurt pastries. It is served on the mezzanine floor of the refectory. Just what you need to set you up for a visit to the gardens, only 400 metres away.

A great find!
