“Great family room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

This is a friendly hotel situated about 2kms east of Honfleur. The room was actually two adjoining rooms with a link corridor in which were the main bathroom. This gave loads of space for up to 5 people. Breakfast is basic but pleasant and the coffee is good! Parking is secure after dark and the area is reasonably quiet. There is a Chinese restaurant right next door and Mcdonalds opposite.
Will definitely be back, it felt very chilled out.

It was getting late and we decided to break our journey in Honfleur. Found this motel and it ticked all the boxes for a very comfortable stay. We had not booked but the owner was friendly, helpful and check in was very quick. Room was better than expected for a motel and we would not fault it. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a pretty dining room. Given that this was a motel, it was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: Excellent value for money. Very friendly & professional owner, don't think one could ask for...

Attended the 70th Anniversary of the D Day landings and was slightly disappointed that we couldn't get nearer to the beaches. However we knew Honfleur from years previous but before this hotel was built. If we return to the area we will stay again. Very good value for where it is and the rooms were excellent. The manage was very helpful, Breakfasts superb. So all in all a lucky find!

My wife and I stayed here on the 3rd June 2014 in room 17. We have stayed here before and we chose this Hotel again as we wanted something special. The Hotel is about 1 km outside the historic town on Honfluer, and which is a present walk when the weather is fine. Hotel Les Bleuets is a collection of 3 buildings housing roomy and spotless rooms (Room 17 has a double and a single bed) and another building housing the Spar, which is free to guests. Speaking of free to guests, there are 10 bicycles that can be borrowed, again f.o.c there are even umbrellas. The proprietor thinks of everything!
Our room's décor, being neutral colours, seemed well, very seasidey and that a compliment. There were a couple of faults, the shower's large head protrudes over the shower tray, putting more water on the toweling-off area than the shower tray. More importantly, the shower tray was very slippery when wet, and with no hand holds around, could be the cause of an accident. This Hotel stands on a roundabout along with a Premie Classe hotel (and a McDonald's), nearby is a B&B Hotel, and a Campanile. Staying at the Bleuets outclasses all of these.

This is a really pleasant motel, with superb, newly renovated rooms. The bathroom was enormous and extremely modern. The only minor drawback is that the motel is about a mile from the old port. The walk isn't terribly interesting, but it also isn't terribly long. I was a bit surprised to find that this got the #2 rating for Honfleur, since it's actually in the next town over. But I haven't stayed anywhere closer to the old port, and I have no criticisms of this place apart from its location.

First night in France and got this hotel off trip advisor that we always use. Nice folks that run the hotel, room was clean, we though it was small but every room we had in over 15 hotels in the next three weeks were small. Plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, free parking that is secured on site right outside you door. Only a few minuets from downtown but you will need a car. We were traveling all around France and had a car so it was a good fit for us. We got the breakfast which was continental which was good. Would stay here again.

Spend 3 days here, breakfast served early from 6.30. No buffet, it is brought to your table. Housekeeping every day, the car in front of your room. Helpful and friendly owner. We walked to the centre of Honfleur for dinner, about 20 min. Lidl and Aldi nearby. Perfect location to visit Normandy
