We had a great 5 day/4 night stay at Maison de Josephine. The cottage served us well (me, my husband, my sister and our 2 boys - 5 and 7 yrs. old). It was cozy and comfortable. Despite cold temps outside, the house warmed up nicely and we found ourselves actually turning down the heat towards the end. Kitchen was stocked enough to make dinner each night. Didn't get to enjoy the yard because of the rain, but it was sizable and looks fun for kids and pets. Very close to Honfleur, which we enjoyed very much, and an easy drive to Etretat (a must!), Trouville and some others that are all worth a visit. Aileen, the owner, was helpful and responsive, both leading up to the trip and during our stay. The bread, jam, butter and milk were a nice touch upon arrival.
If you like rustic French property you will love this one.
Very pet friendly large secure garden.
It has everything you could need, cosy lounge, kitchen we managed to get 8 around the table for breakfast.
very clean and warm we never ran out of hot water.
Linen supplied and the beds made which was nice.
In the fridge butter jam cheese milk and a bottle of local cider.
Vero that looks after the cottage arrived on Sunday morning with fresh bread!!!
I only have one mini negative 2 bedrooms upstairs and both bathrooms downstairs
We arrived to a beautifully clean and well thought out home from home. Welcoming touches like fresh bread, milk, cheese and butter. Conveniently located for Honfluer, supermarkets and D-Day beaches. The garden was great for boules and badminton and was nice and private. The owner was easy to contact and information pack provided was very helpful. Wi-Fi and phone signal were good, showers, oven dishwasher all clean and new.
A little bit more than 5 mins from Honfleur, this traditional house has been well modernised and is very fully equipped. Dishwasher, washing machine, decent charcoal barbeque. . Garden is dog proof if you fit the extra wood panels provided. Wifi etc, etc.
You need to be careful driving onto the (relatively busy road).
Honfleur is an active port , with plenty of cafes, restraunts etc. A good base to tour from in an area that is economically OK, rather than some towns further inland.
Overall, a very acceptable location to stay.
Nice sizable traditional Normsndy cottage.Well equipped with good showers. No amenities within walking distance. Road busy and noisy at times. Very poor beds. Selection of DVDs for small TV but no terrestrial, cable or satellite service. Limited mobile signal.

We had a lovely time, the garden is beautiful and my two dogs loved it as it was safe and enclosed, the garden could do with some sun loungers as there was only one and there were four adults, the plastic chairs are not very comfortable and you can't really sunbathe on them.
The area is great for visiting Honfleur as it is only ten minutes away by car and is very beautiful, we had some lovely meals in there, but if you get the chance visit Café De Paris right on the front as the owner speaks very good English and is able to advise you on the menu.do not go to Christale as we ate there and the food was awful and the service terrible.
The only negative I have about the cottage is the busy road outside, that disturbed us very early each morning, but having said that it did not spoil our holiday, Aileen the owner is very helpful and helped us book a vets appointment for our dogs, however the information in the cottage is mostly in French and could do with updating, I would definitely go back
