“Good and quiet location”
Reviewed 10 July 2012

Very friendly staff! According to French standards we enjoyed the big double bed and very lightfull bathroom. It is located very close to the "Vieux bassin", with a free parking within walking distance. Since the bedroom is away from the street we enjoyed 2 quiet nights!

We stayed in a triple room on the top floor of this small hotel for two nights. The hotel is located in the historic centre of Honfleur, within walking distance of everything. The hotel is dog friendly, which for us was a huge plus! The 12 EUR breakfast is well worth it. Coffee, juice, bread, cheese, charcuterie, fruit, fromage frais and eggs (hard boiled) are offered. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well-decorated. My only downsides are:
(1) as others have mentioned there is no parking. There is a free parking lot about 1 km away, which is not far except if it is raining!
(2) The room did not appear to have any air conditioning and windows did not open (we were on the 3rd floor/attic) so the room got a little stuffy. I cannot imagine how it would feel on a hot day.
(3) Although the room was very clean, the shower drained very slowly so got filled up with water quickly. Probably nothing much you can do in such an old building, but it was a bit of a bother.
Overall, a very nice hotel that I would recommend.

Not a bad little hotel. Location is really nice on an old street with ancient houses. This does mean there is no parking nearby. Reception very friendly, clean rooms, with a bathroom that is a bit dated. Layout of the hotel is a little strange with a lot of small staircases to up different sets of rooms. Breakfast was a good, complete continental type, with bread, croissant, cereals, fruit etc.
We stays with children and a dog and was all perfectly OK.

Room Tip: Try to avoid rooms at the front of the hotel, it can be quite noisy in the morning.

This was booked for us by friends for €114. The hotel is located in a one way street. Very close to the harbour. Pleasant welcome with a nice ambiance. The staircase was to our room was narrow and steep which made the carrying of more than one suitcase challenging. It was also covered in an imitation cobble floor covering which jarred with the otherwise very chic decoration. Our bed room was small and located in an old fisherman's converted cottage. Its shower and toilet en-suite was neatly designed although the shower head needed a dose of viagra . Electric wall heaters were a bit fiddly. Flat screened tv and a comfortable small double bed. Free car parking was four hundred metres away. Would we stay again?- yes for a one or two nights as the room was too small.

Room Tip: Don't arrive on Saturday while the street market is in progress as you will not be unable access...

Nice hotel, right in the picturesque Honfleur. The reception was friendly and they spoke excellent English. There are 14 rooms in various buildings in a row. We had a room at the front. The stairs to the rooms was fairly narrow and style. The room was spacious, a bit creaky floors and had a nice design with special details. The bathroom was neat and tidy, the toilet was very small so small .. I've never seen before! The weather was warm when we were there, so the window should remain open at night (no air conditioning), the cars on the narrow street kept us awake. Breakfast was a bit pricey: 12euro. Better breakfast at the harbor on a terrace .. 6euro. Free parking at about 500m from hotel

We stayed in the cottage with our small children for two nights over October half term. Its really a self catering cottage and very cosy and comfortable, conveniently laid out, the living room is small and kitchen tiny but well equipped - the bedroom are specially nice, the main double room in the middle floor with nice bathroom, and a large kids room upstairs. Special mention for TVs in every room, and the travel cot with thick mattress (comfy for older children though probably not safe for a newborn) - and the patio for eating lunch. The ladies at reception were always lovely. Honfleur is extremely pretty and the market very posh - well worth a weekend visit altogether.

This hotel is very close to the pretty centre of Honfleur but on a reasonably quiet street. The room was clean and had a nice finish to it. We weren't able to access the wi-fi but we were trying on a mac. The people running the place seemed friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment on that. If you are in a car you will probably have to pull up outside and unload with the hazard lights on then go down to the waterside and pay in the large outdoor carpark which was about 12 euros for 24hours, maybe cheaper?

Room Tip: Check which floor you are on because the stairs are narrow with a turn in them!
