Very charming setting and extremely helpful staff. The room was charming and good size. THe bathroom was modernized and larger than normal French bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and very French - with omelets made to order. Great location from downtown - loved the fact that it was off the main area - outside garden area with tables and chairs is very accommodating to guests - can eat outside too if you want. Garden is secluded with a fence around the premises. Would go back there anytime - great atmosphere, great staff, great rooms!

Room Tip: Stayed in room 11 and it was great - it was in the back part of the inn - no elevator so we left som...

This is a very nice small hotel, which we booked on the basis of amazingly good reviews on TA. The room we had was very comfortable with a good bed and a very nice, recently renovated bathroom, however to earn the accolade 'Perfect' of a previous reviewer and to be #1 in Honfleur, charging upwards of 200 euros a night, there were a few issues we had which maybe wouldn't bother others.
Our first problem was the wifi, which was exceedingly slow, took forever to load pages and frequently dropped out, causing great frustration. The second was that breakfast wasn't served till 8:30, which is a long wait for that first coffee and a problem for getting an early start. Breakfast was just the typical continental of tea or coffee with breads and croissants. Good quality, but nothing special. Our room (#11), while comfortable, had almost no storage space - okay if you're just staying overnight but a problem if you are on a long trip and want to unpack for a few days. The last is the parking, previously mentioned by other reviewers, but a serious problem if you just cannot find a place. Other reviewers have mentioned you can book a place in a hotel area but we saw nothing of this and were not informed of alternatives.
If you are looking for an overnight stay, then maybe this hotel is perfect for you. I don't know what else is available in Honfleur, but we wouldn't stay here again.

Recently returned from a three night stay at La Maison de Lucie and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.
The hotel is ideally situated to explore Honfleur, in a quiet part of the town.
The hotel appears to be recently decorated and has been done so to a high standard. The room we stayed in (twelve) was a decent size, again nicely decorated and had good facilities including a lovely shower.
The breakfasts were wonderful and worth the twelve euros a day with fresh bread, croissants, jams and great coffee!
All of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much hassle.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed a two night wet and windy stay in Honfleur, but I would return purely for Maison Lucie,
We had a little trouble finding the hotel due to some road works and the complicated streets, but once we had cracked the maze of streets it all made perfect sense.
The hotel was the house of my dreams, the decor and finishing touches made the public areas not at all stuffy or sterile but warm, cosy and interesting to sit in. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and helpful, and nothing was to much trouble. We enjoyed a bottle of wine by the fire in the living room prior to our evening out and I enjoyed pretending I was the lady of the house!
The courtyard was beautiful, again the attention to detail was fabulous, and very much photographed.
The bedroom was spacious, warm and nicely furnished, the bed was ridiculously comfy (to the point that I undid the shhets to find the make!), and the quality of the bedding luxurious., the bathroom had an amazingly powerful waterfall shower andtoiletries provided if required.
We only had breakfast on one morning, but the bread, croissants, and jam were fab and according to my husband the coffee was particularly good.
On our last morning we were chatting to the staff, enthusing about our stay, they happily took us to view the suite in the court yard, which was so nice, when I win the lottery that is where I will stay ! The staff are a credit to the hotel, I thought they were the owners as they took such pride in the hotel , and really wanted us to enjoy it. Maison Lucie is a little on the pricey side but I would definatley recommend it.

First of all let's start with all the positive reasons to stay here....
The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring wonderful Honfleur,it's just a stroll away to all the shops, bars and restaurants & harbour!.
The hotel is furnished to a very high standard and done with incredible taste, our bed was very comfy( which is most important) the whole hotel has a feel of stepping back in time but with all mod cons like Wi-fi and great showers etc etc,the owners and staff seem friendly and obliging!.
Now some constructive criticism.... as much as I like an open fire with logs burning we found the smell even in our room a little over bearing!.Our room for 2 or 3 people only had one chair what does the other person do?room design didn't allow for hanging clothes properly. The food menu was not in the room and we only discovered it upon leaving.... in the reception area.parking to load and
unload is awkward with very narrow streets. Having said all this the owners should be proud of running this business so well, I hope some of my points could be addressed in the future.

This review is long overdue. My fiance' and I stayed at La Maison de Lucie in September of last year. We started our trip to France by staying in Honfleur, and it was certainly a decision we do not regret. The hotel itself is beautiful, with simple, but very comfortable rooms. We had one of the least expensive rooms, and were very impressed with the accomodations, especially the tiled bathroom and rainshower. Each morning started with a delicious basket of breads, homemade jams, and some of the best coffee i've ever had. The service was top notch, I seriously don't think the inn staff know the word "no". I needed a shirt ironed, and the inn keeper personally took my shirt, and returned to my room 30 minutes later with a perfectly ironed shirt! A special thank you is due for the help the innkeepers provided in my proposal plans. While out at dinner, the innkeepers were kind enough to have flowers and champagne placed in the room. I can't think of a more perfect place to get engaged!

A few tips:
Driving: If you drive yourself, definitely pay for the offstreet private parking. Also take Francois up on his offer to park and retrieve your car for you. Everything in town is within walking distance, so you won't need your car while in Honfleur. We did take a drive to the WWII sites, its about 1-2hrs from the Inn depending on the sites you elect to see.
Dining: Honfleur has some incredible dining options, make sure to make reservations in advance. Sa Qua Na is a must!!! All of the recommendations made by the inn were incredible.

Room Tip: We had one of the least expensive rooms, and found it to be perfect. Lots of windows, rainshower in...

This hotel is very french - with a beautiful courtyard which is often used for breakfast - which contains all the food you would expect from a french farmhouse. It is very handy to the centre of Honfleur and has parking available (public parking area) 100 metres away.
English is spoken and one of the staff looks (although I am told he doesn't sing like) Barry Manilow. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
A very quiet location - a thoroughly enjoyable hotel.

Room Tip: Some of the ground floor rooms open onto a terrace
