We stayed here while travelling back from Spain to the UK. The rooms are small, basic but clean and the hotel was in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the Pl du Vieux Marché, a very lively bustling square with lots of restaurants and bars, many of which are open late, which was a nice surprise as we had expected Rouen to close early like many other French towns. To get to the square you need to turn right out of the hotel, turn right at the end of the street onto the Rue Grand Pont, keep on this road past the cathedral and the next left is the Rue aux Juifes which leads straight into the square.
The receptionists are very helpful and speak good English. There is no air conditioning or lifts and no secure parking, although if you are lucky you can park on the street outside, but there is a car park a few minutes walk away that charges 9 euros for 24 hours.
The hotel has non-smoking and smoking rooms so you need to make your preference clear when booking, although I requested a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room, but there was no strong smell so it wasn't a problem.More
