“I ate here 3 times during our weeks visit - love it!”
Reviewed 13 October 2012

We ate our first wonderful meal here when we visited Le Mans and still not sure if it was the excellent food, the attentive service or the little ''free'' added extras that made us decide we were truly in fine dining paradise. Everything I ordered was delicious from the complimentary pate at the start of the meal to the mouth watering desserts at the end. i also ate lunch here one day and we returned for another dinner later in the week. It wasn't a fluke, each meal was wonderful value for money and truly delicious. The service and atmosphere was outstanding and to be remembered by the wait staff! well that says it all really. Lunch or dinner both are excellent times to eat here. But book ahead for dinner as it gets busy - full of locals most days which is always a very good indicator of a fine dining establishment,

“Uncomplicated food in a fantastic location”
Reviewed 6 August 2012

Currently sitting at a table outside after experiencing a divine meal.
My better half had a tuna and salmon mousse to start, and I had goats cheese. Yum yum!! Main courses were skewered beef and haddock. All presented perfectly and we were made to feel very welcome from start to finish. The chefs home made ducks liver pâté was to die for.

“5 Stars for Ambiance and Service”
Reviewed 24 June 2012

We went to this restaurant during the Drivers Parade during the 24 hours of Le Mans. The proprietor was present and greeted us herself. The food was very good. It was a blend of French country and haute Cuisine. I would recommend this restaurant. The value was VERY good for the quality of the food and service.

“Impressed husband...”
Reviewed 4 June 2012

He likes his canard and this was a good one. I had a salade au fromage and thought I'd died and gone to heaven on deep fried bits of goats cheese....Our 4 and 2 year old children were tired and a bit unruly but was all handled well. In a lovely part of the old town.

“Worth searching for”
Reviewed 9 December 2011

Wonderful small restaurant in the old town area. Old building on a cobbled street surrounded by more of the same - very picturesque. The restaurant has a number of rooms so although it can hold lots of diners it feels small and cosy. Food was excellent and all that I had hoped for from French cuisine. Menus in english and english speaking staff were available. Good value and great food and wine.
