Have problem sleeping? Don't speak French? Visit the ship!
Being passionate on the subject, having also visited the Aurora in St. Petersburg and the Intrepid in New York, I couldn't pass this opportunity: well, after less than half hour I was asleep. The most interesting sections are sealed, the English leaflet is as entertaning as Vogon's poetry, the guide's monotone description (in French, obviously) works better than camomille, the cruiser actually never really accomplished anything worth of mention. 3/4 into the tour I felt I needed to escape to avoid further suffering
I wouldn't bring kids (it's a warship after all, not a Lego shop), and for anyone with a little knowledge of warships it's boring. Maybe for recluse people or housewife is interesting. Also, the tour started 15 minutes late, and finished 30 minutes late

This is an old warship of France. There are only guided tours in this ship - you can't visit by yourself. It's open only in the afternoon from 2.30pm. The guided tours are totally in French, but non-French speakers are given a booklet explaining the highlights in English.
You can choose to visit the steam engine or other parts of the ship, or both. If you visit both, it'll take you one and half an hour.
