Lovely gite in a wonderful part of France. Great facilities with a lovely garden. Hosts are excellent and welcoming.
We have just spent a wonderful fortnight in the cottage. It had everything you needed and was perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. You will need a car but the bikes available made a good alternative for baguette runs!
Gill couldn't do enough for us and struck the right balance between being there when we needed her without being intrusive. The animals were wonderful too and our 8-year old loved them.
All in all a fantastic place to stay and we'd love to visit again.
We had a fabulous few days in this lovely Gite. Gillian is a lovely host who made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. On arrival Gillian left us a generous welcome pack including some lovely home made marmalade. The gite was extremely comfortable and the location quiet but convenient for visiting the Angers and Saumur regions. We will be back.
Very nice rural location, close to Saumur .The cottage is very comfortable and spotlessly clean, all you need for a perfect retreat.Gillian is very friendly and extremely helpful.
This was a lovely farmhouse with the owners living on site in another part of the building. About a half hour drive from Saumur and an hour from Angers. Lots to see in the area. Hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed the company of the cats, dogs, horses and chickens. Only there for four days. Would go again for a longer break.
House is located in a lovely country side. It's quite and peaceful. It is in a good location to explore the area. The supermarket is only 5 minutes away so as the local bakery.
The property itself is spacious inside and It stays cool even when it's hot outside.
The owners are very freindly and try to help when ever they can.
The only thing that we felt would be beneficial if the owners instal some net curtains on the windows, like they have on their windows, so that the windows can be left opened without bees and flys getting in.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future to continue to explore the area.
