It's an Ibis and as such is no different to other hotels of the brand. It was clean, modern and comfortable and at a decent price - and ideally located for a stopover the night before driving back to Calais to catch the ferry.
This was, I think, the fourth time we have stayed here and each time has been exactly the same - clean, basic, functional rooms. This time, however, we were initially put in a tired, cramped, fairly shabby room (definitely in need of a refurb) but when we complained, we were immediately given a clean modern, more spacious room - just as we would come to expect from Ibis - without any fuss or questions asked.
The food in the restaurant is adequate - nothing outstanding but enjoyable and at a fairly decent price.
About a ten minute walk from the hotel there is a large Carrefour supermarket with a number of fast food restaurants, but other than that there is nothing else of any note near the hotel - it is definitely one frequented by travellers passing through the area.
This hotel was clean, modern, functional and perfectly acceptable.More
