“Quirky and wonderful”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Tucked away on a corner, this place looks quite understated from the outside but delivers once you are through the door. Modern decor, amazing service (including staff who interpreted all the courses into English), this place is worth a visit. We went for the chef's surprise menu at 46euros and rolled back to our hotel. The quality was superb (including a lobster and eel entree which is one of the tastiest starters I have ever had) with good size portions. You need to book however.

“Best meal in Aix”
Reviewed 3 April 2014 via mobile

We stayed 4 nights in Aix and had 4 excellent dinners but this was the best. The two waitresses did sterling work translating into English and the food was top notch, from the amuse bouche at the beginning to the limoncello at the end.

“Best I have found in Aix”
Reviewed 12 February 2014 via mobile

They have expanded the menu here in the last year , the food is original, very good value, and perfectly cooked. Service is very friendly and atmosphere great in this very small and compact reasaurant.

“Just OK”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

But for a hard shelled chocolate dome desert it was OK.Unfortunately this region caused me to believe you can bet bad meals in France. Prices high separate and apart from the EU differential.
The staff were lovely professional and try hard. Pretty but very small space.
Sincere attempt at creative gastronomy.

“Fussy food even a guy would like.”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

Beautifully located in the main square on Place de Cardeurs, cheek to jowl to many other worthy restaurants, it's a slick operation. The two waitresses worked in harmony, like two ballerinas. And they patiently went over the complex menu in English.

E38 for this 3-course dinner was an excellent value: Tuna tartar with artichoke appetizer was 4 stars; steak, with a medley of baby vegetables (carrots, zucchini, leeks, potato, peas, spring onion, bacon lardons). Toothy cut, but quite tasty; we've had excellent tiramisu literally hundreds of times, but this one takes the cake!

Oh, try the fruit juice and sparkling water aperitif.
