La Bruissanne
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 27 October 2010

We only spent one evening at La Bruissane, but wished we could have stayed longer. While it is a little way out of the centre of Aix, the property is stunning and the rooms are beautifully presented and clean. We very much appreciated a welcoming glass of wine and the yoghurt and berries at breakfast should not be missed! Sophie also provided us with some excellent tips on places to visit in Provence, for which we were very grateful.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Aix en Provence. The family run B&B has three tastefully and luxuriously appointed rooms of different sizes in large well tended grounds. There are lots of nice touches, including up market shower accessories and a well equipped outdoor but covered guest food preparation area. There is also a large sparklingly clean pool. The breakfasts forced us to be up by 10 for fear of missing host Sophie's yoghurt and strawberry compotes and bakery fresh pastries. This is a special B&B which contributed to a memorable stay in Aix.
