This is an odd hotel. The lobby and restaurant area are modern and well kept. However , on arrival , I was first shown to a room that smelt like a dead body was being kept in it. Refusing that , I was taken to a room where two sides of the lift shaft made up part of the interior walls of the room. I mentioned that this would be noisy but the receptionist looked baffled , as if she had never ever heard such a ridiculous thing. She took me to the smallest room on the third floor and I admitted defeat and decided I could simply have more wine and sleep deeper . The room was small and functional. Colours are bright and modern and the shower room is modern but had mould around the tray. The doors were splattered with what looked like old toothpaste. The tv is a flat scene showing only french channels which for a tourist hotel that is as expensive as this one, is not that great . The bed does make up lots of positive ground. The linen was fresh , ironed and the bed itself very very comfortable.
Next morning I didn't have the expensive (€20 ) breakfast. Just go left for thirty yards and there is an excellent cafe serving pastries and eggs and bacon if required, for a fourth of the cost .
The staff are friendly and mostly helpful.
The hotel was disappointing because it's far from cheap. It's too expensive for the room size and facilities available. Wi Fi is provided but took some messing around to work. Stay here if you have deep pockets and don't mind the smell of a morgue.

My family (2 adults, 1 child and a baby) spent one night at Hotel Cezanne on the way to the Pryenees from Italy. Of huge appeal was the parking - which made life much easier for us! It is a lovely hotel, our junior suite (though smaller than expected and just one room (plus bathroom - which was very spacious), which was not what we thought of as a 'suite') was large enough to accommodate the 4 of us and had an extremely comfortable bed. Double glazing meant the room was also very quiet. Seeing the floor plan made me realise the juinior suite was much bigger than the other options. It was a great location, only a short walk from the main shopping area and market. Easy to access from the motorway. We would stay here again.

Hotel Cezanne is a great boutique hotel in a very good location. Just a short walk from the main touristy area and very quiet area.

We arrived early in the day and our room was not available, We were greeted by a very welcolming and helpful manager. He took our bags, provided a map, showed us areas of interest and suggested how we could pass an hour until room was available. Nothing was too much bother. He was so friendly and helpful.

When we returned bags were in our room. Small but very comfortable room. Bed very comfortable and shower very good.

Free WiiFii. Free soft drinks in room and an honesty bar at reception.

We were only staying the one night and were very pleased. We didn't take breakfast so can't comment.

Before booking a hotel I read lots of reviews and I was very happy with this choice.

Had a 4 night stay in Aix-en-Provence in spring this year. Lovely town with some lovely countryside nearby. The Cezanne was a super boutique hotel; the room wasn't massive but clever use of space made it compact & v comfortable. Good location near town centre & not far from the railway station. Staff v pleasant and the hotel was clean & tidy.
No complaints at all!

We were fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite, it was very clean and comfortable. The bed was large and it was nice having free wifi in the room and an iPod dock. Given its city centre location there aren't any amazing views but it was very quiet and the centre of Aix is very accessible, we found it a very good place to stay. It's a bonus having free, secure parking close by as well. We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that but the staff were very friendly and helpful and we would stay here again.

Stayed in Hotel Cezanne on Aix. Good location. Room was comfortable with refrigerator. Breakfast at 20 Euros is very expensive. No other food service. No room service, lunch or dinner. Honor bar in Lobby operated 24 hours which was a nice feature. No concierge to book tours etc you must go to the visitor center.
