Lovely food although we found the dessert (a meringue) just too sweet with not enough fruit to compensate for that. The strter and mian courses were delicious. However we were shown to a basement as we were told that the rest of the restaurant was full. It smelt slightly fusty and noone else came in so there was no atmosphere. When we left the rest of the restaurant didn't look full but everyone looked young. Did they decide to put seniors out of the way!!

I had the seared tuna which was delicious as an appetizer. My partner had the foie gras, which she said was the best she had ever had. The main courses were also delicious. The chef is French, and his wife was from Ireland and was especially welcoming. Each bite of French food, made with fresh ingredients, is so tasty.

Dominated by fresh local produce, the menu was accompanied by a good wine list. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great meal

We had two lovely meals at this restaurant on our stay in Aix en Provence. The owner and the staff are all very pleasant and the service was excellent. Although not cheap the food was exceptionally cooked and we would have no hesitation about recommending this restaurant to others and going again ourselves when in the area

This is what you expect in France, not the mediocre restaurants populating the plazas. Hard to find, but worth the effort. Like all really good restaurants, they do just a few things, but do them well. Three course meal 37 euro, 5 choices each course, end of story. Got to try two of each, thanks to wife, and all were first rate and surprising; first time I've had Morels outside of the US, and I didn't have to hunt them myself. Pan seared tuna was kaleidoscope of tastes and could stand alone as whole meal. Cheese cake awesome, not being the usual 1 lb. a piece US variety. Side note: English and French menus and staff speak excellent English.

Restaurants like this make me glad I discovered Trip Advisor.
