This is an excellent hotel in the heart of the old town. Great value for money.

Location is fantastic. A walk from all major sites, the hotel is located in Place du Forum, a very beautiful square full of  bistrots and people and ambiance. An excellent base to discover the beautiful town of Arles and enjoy the local atmosphere.

We paid Eur 80 for a large double room overlooking a small medieval street. Despite the very central location on the square, we couldn't hear any noise. We had the most comfortable double king size bed ever! Extra pillows and blankets available. Plenty of storage room. Nice antique furniture, but not shabby. Very clean. Free WiFi throughtout the hotel, good speed. New flat screen TV with a good selection of local and international channels.

The hotel has a very nice lobby and a nice bar (snooker and big screen). It also has a great swimming pool (in the inner court yard, hotel guests only) where breakfast is also served (dining room inside as well). The continental breakfast was very good. A choice of cereal, toasts, jam, juice, fresh croissants and coffee. Warm dishes also available. The breakfast is an extra Eur 9 per persson. We thought it was goid value for money given that outside the hotel breakfast costs Eur 7,5 and you get a limited amount of food and drinks.

The staff was super nice, accommodating and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All staff speak fluent English and other languages as well (Spanish, Italian).

We will deff come and stay there again and highly recommend this hotel!

Room tip: book well in advance (at least a couple of months) in particular if travelling in July and August. The hotel is overbooked during the first week of July due to the international photo festival Les Rencontres d'Arles which opens on 2 July and runs until September.

Book through Booking.com and then realized we might need more space. So I contacted the hotel and they had a room just for my family of 5. It was large and had a separate room inside of it for the kids. They loved the pool and had a great time. It was fun to be on the square that Van Gogh painted The Night Cafe' on.

We had a lovely large room at the back of this central hotel overlooking rooftops and gardens. In front is one of the main squares full of restaurants and cafes, and very near to the major sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
If you arrive by car, be warned! Driving in the centre of Arles is not for the faint-hearted, with a maze of very narrow one way streets full of pedestrians. You need to reserve a garage space in advance at 10 euros a night - the hotel will then park your car for you.

We stayed three nights and had a large room with two double beds, a table and two chairs, a dresser and closet, refrigerator and a commodious bathroom with shower/tub combination. The hotel building is located just a few minutes walking distance from the major antiquities in Arles and the main square where much of the night life takes place.

Rooms down near the street level can get noisy but we stayed on the third floor, fourth if ground at street level were designated first, and had little problem with noise. There is a small elevator so you don't need to carry bags upstairs but plan on walking down as the elevator can be slow and/or tied up.

Internet/wireless is free and works even far from the reception area in our room.

Be prepared for an older building with steps that are not always equal height but truly interesting decor and a good breakfast with great croissants and coffee, bread and jams, cold cuts and cheese as well as juice.

We arrived by bus and the hotel met the bus at a remote site to pick up our bags as the streets are too narrow for buses. Take note of other reviews from those who drove here telling you how to navigate to the hotel and have them park your car as this is in the center of a very old part of town. It is perfect for tourists so don't let that discourage you!

Room Tip: The higher floors may be best if you are a light sleeper. As night life extends into the alleys, a...

This was to be our only night in Arles and the hotel owners Valerie and Frederic Oggier could not have made us feel more at home. We were escorted to our room by a very nice english speaking young woman who showed us the amenties of the room then opened the huge window overlooking the rooftops of Arles - what a way to start our trip! The view was spectacular and the fresh air welcome! The room was spacious with a large bathroom and very nice shower. After getting settled in, we asked Valerie for a recommendation for dinner and she made a phone call and got us into a lovely family owned restaurant that served us a beautiful and memorable meal. The next morning a delicious breakfast awaited us with lots of strong cafe au lait. We could not have asked for more from a hotel. The owners were friendly and accomodating and we slept like babies in a very comfortable bed. I will definitely be back and will recommend to friends.

Room Tip: We were in room 49 which was spacious and sunny and at the back of the hotel off the square which wa...

We did battle to find this hotel because the GPS kept wanting for us to go up one ways. I suggest you phone the hotel and they will assist. The will park the car for you once you do arrive. The hotel is on a nice square with some cafes and nearby restaurants.

Our room was large with a view over the swimming pool. The room is well appointed with a big bathroom. Room was clean and serviced daily. All the staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is also lovely with a big breakfast room, swimming pool and a bar.

Hotel is also close to all the sights and ruins. The hotel is a real treat after small, cramped hotel rooms.
