The Romanesque capitals are stunning, and happily, restoration efforts were applied to them first; it will be very nice once the Gothic arcades, too, are fully visible and the architectural stabilization completed. Be sure to leave a large cushion of time when visiting, as it has twice happened to us now that the attendant has closed nearly half an hour before the posted time, pushing us out rather brusquely. But this is still a can't-miss site for any visitor to Arles.

Still some restoration in place, but it's really worth a visit! Details of the sculptures are incredible, and you have a nice view from the top terrace.

That was the state in December 2013 and is likely to be that way for some time. If you are interested in Medieval art, it is still very worthwhile stop. The scaffolding did hide some of the columns and their sculpture but what is visible is exceptional.

There are many cloisters in Arles and the surrounding country, but this one is a gem. To fully appreciate this sight, arrange to take the guided tour. The information will more than enlighten.

This is an amazing place with some of the most beautiful stone sculptures I have seen. The cloisters were being renovated when we visited, but the process is being undertaken very cleverly so that you do not feel disturbed by it. Do not miss the small museum attached to it with impressive examples of religious art.
