“Lunch was perfect”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

I was concerned that this might be too close to the tourist area for the Palais des Papes, but pleased we decided to try it. We were drawn to the outside seating. Panani sandwiches were served with a small salad and fries. We ordered gelato after, which was delcious. Wait staff very attentive.

“Gourmet cuisine”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

From the initial welcome and the helpful explanation/translation of the menu items, we knew we would have a great meal. Unlike so many French restaurants - there is actually plenty of space around your table and you do not feel cramped or like you are eating with the people next to you. They were very careful to make sure my husband's garlic allergy was catered to and he had a VERY nice demi-bottle of Chateau neuf-du Pape (Domaine Font de Michelle 2011) which was worth every cent of the 39 euros it cost. I had the most scrumptious pork dish while my husband went for the sea bass encrusted with nuts and dried fruits. We shared a very tart citron meringue with lemon sorbet, and mousse. One of the best meals we've had in France and that is saying a lot! Plus the prices for entrees were very reasonable (19 euros for mine and 26 euros for my husband's). The location right across from the Pope's Place gives you the night time lights as scenery also. The manager who served us was so helpful and friendly plus we know other people from our tour who were eating there at the same time had a similar wonderful experience.

“Nice place for lunch directly in front of Palais de Papes”
Reviewed 9 November 2013

This restaurant has outdoor seating directly in front of the Palais des Papes. We were able to watch the street performers in the square and take photos from our table. The food was really good. I had a veal dish with harissa sauce and a tropical friut cake, beautifully decorated. Our waiter conversed with us and provided good service.

“Indoors are cute”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

We had dinner here on a Sunday. It is perfectly placed in a huge piazza opposite the entrance to the Papal Palace. The food was good, the prices reasonable, and the decor very modern.

“Great food at great value”
Reviewed 8 July 2013 via mobile

We walked by the restaurant and noticed the Michelin sticker so We went for lunch on a hot July afternoon. We chose the mix and match menus which was starter and main at 25€. We had the Tuna for starter and then sea bream for main. And I ordered a main of beef steak and pâte for 26€, both were excellently done! Since I did not order a starter they gave me a veg mousse anyway. I think the dishes were creatively done and there were some surprises in each of the dishes mostly in the ingredients. I would return.
