The location of this hotel is near the centre of Avignon and close to the main railway station. We got a very friendly welcome and our room was clean and as shown in the advertising. Two things really let this hotel down. One was the shower which was in the bath with no shower curtain which meant you couldn't help get water everywhere when showering. The other was after such a friendly welcome we got the total opposite from the two reception staff one evening by daring to ask if we could get a coffee at 10pm when we arrived back from a long days driving. We were told if we wanted coffee we would have to go and get one in the town! I was shocked that in a hotel like this that they did not have facilities to provide a coffee. (We did go out to look but even the cafés and bars were closing) Even the budget chain hotels we had previously stayed in within France have been able to provide this. We understand that on the continent not many places supply tea and coffee in the rooms but have never stayed in a hotel that cannot provide this facility outside of breakfast hours.

We stayed here for 3 nights in March and would certainly return. The hotel is very well located near the rail station and the main sights in Avignon. The staff were excellent. The hotel has the facilities of the 3-star hotel that it is, so don't expect a restaurant, gym, super modern bathroom etc Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Overall, it was very good value for money and a very enjoyable stay.

Visited Avignon with my 20yr old daughter and shared a twin room. The hotel was inside the walls of the old town within a couple of minutes walking distance of the Avignon Rail Station (if you travel on the TGV you have to catch a link train/bus from the TGV Rail Station). The hotel is also easily placed for all the tourist sights, the Palace of the Popes was about 10 minutes walk. The staff were very friendly and, if required, English was spoken by all we met. The room and bathroom were modern, comfortable and very clean. TV with satellite channels for a lot of international channels, minibar and safe. We were in a room overlooking a street and Irish Pub but had no problems with noise. The hotel does not have a restaurant of its own, or at least no direct access, but there is one right by the side of the hotel and a good range both on the Avenue outside and in the central square a couple of minutes walk away. The breakfast was well stocked and of a good range of eggs, meats, cheeses, bread, croissants etc.

Overall an extremely comfortable stay and we would return with no hesitation.

An excellent hotel based on location and value for money - Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception- all had good local knowledge. Hotel was on the centre of town within walking distance to all the tourist sights in town. Main bus stop to the TGV station is within 2 minutes walk and the Avignon Centre Train Station is less than 5 minutes walk.. There is a Tourism office almost across the road from the hotel. The hotel only serves breakfast - no other restaurants in the hotel but there are plenty just outside on the main avenue. A good 3 star hotel.

Very nice hotel, simple and clean and quiet in the center of town. Staff was lovely and helpful. The only negative was the restaurant which was either very busy or very rude. They could have many tables in the early evening and still be "full". I didn't really succeed in finding a good restaurant in the immediate area of the hotel. But the hotel was a clean private place to sleep with above average decor.

On arrival the staff were very helpful. The allocated room was dark, window opened above air conditioning plant. We were immediately offered a room on 3rd floor overlooking street. This proved to be very noisy until 2.00am with cars being banged and motorbikes revving up.
Room was comfortable but I would recommend staying out of town, Avignon does not appear to be safe at night.
