Ten minutes from Avignon TGV train station...by bus. We would have taken a taxi but there weren't any so we caught the bus which dropped us off practically opposite the hotel. How much: 1€30...incredible. So, we used it to catch our return train which was at 7.16am. So, back to the hotel - staff: friendly and wishing to help. The bar - relaxing, quiet and not crowded. The restaurant - modern and funky. We really enjoyed the downstairs area of the hotel as it is very modern and comfortable. A real pleasure to use rather than having to go out all of the time (we know, as it rained on our first evening!!). Unfortunately, we didn't use the outside area as it was cold but...wow...when the sun shone, it's a sun trap: swimming pool, sun loungers, funky tables. A really nice place to have something to eat and drink or a great place to relax and sunbathe. The hotel room: comfy bed, greta ambience and lighting...tremendous shower and an extremely bizarre two-way 'viewing' window from the shower room to the bedroom. But, if you're a bit shy, you can go all private at the click of a button!! Don't worry, the toilet is private. We will most definitely be returning...loved it. We would, however, expect a bit more for our €15 buffet breakfast - a bit naff. Nonetheless, we find this in all european hotels so we do not hold this against this hotel - it appears a 'normal' breakfast, just should be a bit cheaper!
