An absolute gem. This private home has been lovingly renovated, offering three rooms arranged around a central dining room in a home-from-home. Rooms and bed-linen are immaculately clean, soft light through the tall French windows just invites you to feel immediately at ease and rested. Breakfast is superb : everything home-made. Step outside in the evening and within moments you can enjoy four street cafes around the tiny Place des Chataigniers for your aperitif; walk a little further and you discover the Palais.

My husband and I were traveling through France and we simply loved staying here in Avignon. You are in the middle of it all without being in the middle of it all. This B&B is in a private home that has been renovated for this purpose with ensuite baths and great amenities. The inkeepers were wonderful and the breakfasts were all made from scratch and she is quite a baker! We can't say enough good about our stay. Should you stay here? In a word, definitely.

We stayed for 2 nights and felt very welcomed and at home. It is a great location in the old centre, close to everything. The room was beautiful, almost a bit quirky, the bed was comfortable also a great shower. Anne-Lise's breakfasts were a good start to the day and on our last morning we had to leave very early so she baked a gorgeous cherry flan for us. It is a very quite atmosphere and you may not see anyone else. A lovely place and a lovely host.

We stayed for our last night here and really felt like we were living in Avignon, the room was beautiful and very romantic. And the most interesting parts of Avignon were right on our doorstep.

The breakfast was lovely and we were well looked after by Anne-Lise.

We stayed for 2 nights. Anne-Lise treated us as old friends with great support. She prepared yummy and nutritious breakfast, introduced us good restaurants and give us advice where to go. The room is clean and comfortable with typical south France home style. You can totally feel like living there in Avignon, not only a traveller. Everything is more than worthy. We had a great time and sweet impression!

I stayed for one night in the Romantique room. It's even nicer than the pictures, with elegant furnishings and a ceiling so high it felt like a palace. Anne-Lise made sure I felt at home and gave me lots of great advice. The location could not be better, right in the old town. There was some noise, of course, in the street but this was significantly reduced by closing the windows, and did not stop me from sleeping.

We stayed in La Contemporaine for one week and Anne-Lise made us feel very welcome and so much at home. The room was beautifully prepared and clean, quiet at night, the bed was comfortable, shower invigorating and Anne-Lise's breakfasts were something to look forward to - freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee & croissants and Anne-Lise's own home-made yoghurt, cakes and jam. It was also lovely to meet so many interesting people at the breakfast table and little Paul was also a charming breakfast companion! Avignon is a beautiful, historic city and is easily managed on foot. Transport to other cities and towns is easy by bus and train. Merci pour tout, Anne-Lise!
