We had the dark chocolate and melon ice cream which were both amazing. However, they were rather pricey and the lady behind the counter was not welcoming at all.

We hadn't read TA but just popped into this ice salloon. The waiter was incredibly friendly.
The price 'shocked' me a little bit (2.8 EUR for just one scoop) but once I had my first lick, I knew this ice cream was well worth its price. I even think about going back tomorrow. Probably in my top 3 or 5 of best ice creams ever.
They have special flavors as well.

Thank Ann S

This shop serves wonderful ice cream that is homemade with wonderful inventive flavors that included toasted almond (yum) and flowery lavender (not for me). Prices are 2.69 Euros for a scoop. They also have bigger servings, plus a whole range of desserts. Has indoor and outdoor tables.

Overhyped. Order not well understood (no chantilly). But got bottle of water. Ice had frozen pieces (so was defrozen somewhere?). No fresh fruit in the ice used. Very, very expensive (3,50 per boulle). Wine was on the card, but only possible with dinner (so needed to change thoughts while waiter was waiting, not needed if card was clear). Anyhow, after these ratings before (and noted on the door that it is the 4th best ice store in France) we concluded that there are better ice stores.

Taken here by our gourmet guide Aurelie, she told us this is one of the top "glaciers" (ice maker) in France. She did not disappoint us: A couple of nights earlier we had a delicious desert in Les Verger des Papes (Chateanuef du Pape, highly recommendable) that served us lavender ice cream. At that time we thought it could not get better but guess what: it could! The lavender ice cream (we also got melon sorbet ice that was so creamy we thought it was ice cream) was so delicate and balanced that it cannot possibly get better. Hence the rare 5 stars.
