The room was average, but the location was superb. Our one night stay put us within easy walking distance of the TGV train station. We were also able to take advantage of a bus that ran by the hotel and dropped us at the other train station at the edge of Avignon near a Tourist Information office.

We stayed five nights and the room was fairly spacious, quiet, and the bed was super-comfortable. I appreciated the ability to make hot beverages in the room (water boiler and coffee and tea provided), and the ice machine in the lobby. Parking was very secure, as they close the gates at night and you need a room key to open the gates. Another reviewer mentioned the shopping center "across the street" -- but it is actually about a quarter mile away, and not easy to walk to.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the TGV train station, there is a regular bus service from just outside the hotel to the center of Avignon which runs to around 2200hrs. It benefits from it's location as it is quiet and safe, although there isn't much near the hotel, so you are guaranteed a good night sleep, the rooms are a good size and clean.

You can easily walk into town it takes around 20 minutes, the bus is one euro 30 cents, or alternatively you can purchase a 10 journey ticket from the shop near the tourist information in Avignon. The breakfast is alright, but you have to get down early as they don't put too much out. There is free WIFI, but it is advisable to ask for a room with a good signal.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a good Wifi signal if required

Within walking distance from the train station. But I was pleasantly surprised by how large the rooms were, by France's standards. Working desk with free wi- fi, little couch, queen bed, nice, clean, spacious bathroom.
The extensive breakfast buffet made this hotel n even better value. Comes with fresh baked goods (including pain au chocolate and croissants), creeps, eggs and sausage, bioche, cold cuts, fresh fruits, yogurts.
The shuttle is just 100 yards from hotel and costs just €1.30 and drops off in the town centre.

This hotel was a surprise to me. I arrived hot and tired after a day of train travel and was warmly welcomed at reception by a lovely lady who even spoke English. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was simply amazing.
I was delighted to find a much appreciated, complimentary bottle of water in the room as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
The bus to the Town Centre leaves from directly across the road and only cost 1.30. Both nights I was here I ate at the little restaurant, and had lovely simple meals with friendly service.
I love that they actually do try to conserve power with movement activated lighting...not just a sign in the bathroom that says they care!
Overall, I was extremely happy with my stay here. If I may suggest though to be a little more generous with the milk, as they were plenty of coffee sachets yet only 2 tiny milks.
