This lovely little boutique property is located on a quiet street within the city walls, minutes walk from the TGV station. Our room was spacious and clean. Good shower. Wifi. Windows opened. Breakfast options continental or full breakfast very good. Hosts very welcoming. They gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. No lift but the hotel exudes charm and ambiance. Bright feel good Provencal decor. We will be staying here again next time.

Room Tip: Ask for a large corner room. It is worth it.

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely little hotel tucked away on a quiet street in Avignon. We enjoyed our stay very much! The breakfast they provided was the best breakfast we received in all of France, with a delicious selection of home-made items. The hotel itself is ideally situated within easy walking distance of all of the shopping, tourist sites and restaurants in Avignon. Thankfully, it is on a pedestrian only street, so it is very quiet and peaceful in an otherwise traffic-filled, noisy city. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and accommodating, providing a charming, comfortable, unique place to stay. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room #9 on the second floor and loved it. You do need to walk up 2 flights of stairs on a beautiful red carpeted winding stairway, but it was a great room with a view out to the pretty little garden patio.

I can't believe this place has such a good rating on Tripadvisor. The service is easily the worst we encountered in all of France (or Europe). The host, Annie, practically yelled at us when we came in for the first time. She was very rude and expected us to know how everything functioned. She was extremely obnoxious and SHOULD NOT work at a hotel. Her husband was OK, but by the time we met him, we had already been scared away by her. There are no elevators in the hotel, but the rooms are OK, and clean. The bathroom in room number one smells terrible at all times. The location is good but my advice: DO NOT stay here, unless you're ready to get yelled at for no reason whatsoever.

Stayed 6 nights in Rm 13 (on top floor).
CLEAN!...well looked after...decor is bright and a little eclectic (fun).
Small room (by N American standards)...but to be expected in most places in Europe.
Air Conditioning! (Thank goodness).
Location is fantastic...short walk from Avignon Centre train station and bus connection to TGV train station...inside the old city walls, restaurants/cafe's and sights close....Laundrette (Laverie) literally steps away.
Owner Patrice, always up-beat, goes the extra mile to help.
The 'Notice' stating they did not want guests to eat in their room. I can understand this request, however it is unreasonable in my opinion.
They also don't want guests to hand-wash/dry any clothes in the rooms...but with a Laverie around the corner, there is no need to.

In the end...this is a highly recommended Hotel.

Room Tip: As mentioned by other reviewers...no elevator...no big deal if your in reasonable shape...otherwise request ground floor or 1st floor rooms.

We enjoyed our one night stay. The owner has put a lot of effort in to decorating a bright, attractive hotel. our room was large and clean. Staying inside the wall of this old city was a treat. The cost of the hotel was a bit more expensive than others we stayed at on our trip. Good advice on local restaurants.
