This small hotel is in a quiet and handy location for exploring all that Avignon has to offer. Very clean, en suite rooms with air con and comfortable beds (and some interesting art work) make this hotel a great choice. We enjoyed breakfast served in the courtyard by Patrice. Our one night stay was all too brief but we would definitely recommend staying at Le Colbert and indeed visiting Avignon itself.

Room Tip: No lift so if you have a lot of luggage maybe the 1st floor would be best.

This little hidden Gem is a wonderful Hotel. We booked a cozy attic room, which was wonderful. We would recommend this Hotel to anyone who goes to Avignon :-)

Breakfast made by the owners is also highly recommended.

Room Tip: Attic room is very cozy :-)

We planned a trip to Avignon end of July which is a festival month so it was a challenge to find a place, but luckily, Colbert found a room. It is a cute place, rooms are fine, no iron is available though. The location is really good within the city walls and a few meters from the train station and the TGV bus stop. The place has a character, artistic, room was not too small, clean.. quite a good place for a 2 star hotel. We kept the window open during the night and it was somewhat noisy considering the festivities around.

A well run small hotel in a very central, but quiet position. It is just a 10 minute ride on the shuttle bus from Avignon TGV station, then less than 5 minute walk to hotel. Helpful hosts & lovely little courtyard garden where we enjoyed having breakfast. Accommodation was clean & comfortable, but stairs not suitable if you have mobility problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had booked Le Colbert based on TA reviews and Le Colbert's website which intrigued us with photos of the rooms, artworks and outside patio area. Patrice and Annie were the perfect hosts. Our room was perfect for size, amenities and storage space. Although their is no elevator, I appreciated the prints on the wall as we climbed the stairs. Patrice suggested a restaurant nearby for dinner, Fou de Fa Fa, which is perhaps the finest we have been to and at a reasonable price, and the host so courteous and professional. A memorable time at Le Colbert and if ever I am fortunate to be Avignon again, Le Colbert will be my preference.
