“Charming, accommodating Chef welcomed our family for a fabulous meal!!”
Reviewed 3 July 2014 via mobile

Our family has dietary restrictions and Chef Larrue met with us in advance to plan a special meal for our visit. He made a fabulous meal and was able to make superb adjustments to accomodate our family's food allergies. Will definitely return!! Bon Apetite!!! Et Merci!!!!!!!

“Terrific Dinner Experience”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

My wife and I were spending a week in Provence and the evening dinner here was outstanding. We selected the Chef's surprise which essentially lets him prepare a meal of his choice and it was excellent.

“Taken for a ride. ”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

We found this place in a back street while looking for another restaurant that was closed.

We walked in to just look at the menu and we were going to leave as it looked deserted but we were instantly charmed by the owner, so we decided to trust him as he was very friendly had worked in Australia and enticed us with a special menu. It was our mistake not to ask how much it would be beforehand. The place other than one table was completely empty. He said he mostly does catering these days. The wine he brought out was amazing- possibly the best wine we had while in France. The appetizer tasted like it had been made that morning for catering and was very average. All the food was just okay. And we were shocked at how expensive the bill was. 110 euro for two.

The heart was there, but the product wasn't. Sorry!

“Cooking Class with Chef Larrue”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

My 17-year old daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful cooking class with Chef Larrue while visiting in Avignon. Our event started at the beautiful indoor market, where we were able to sample everything from olives to brioche. From there, we stopped at a professional market and then on to the Le Jardin de la Tour with our instructor. Chef Larrue was engaging, funny, and so generous with his time and expertise. We both learned a lot about cooking, but even more so about the French experience with food. In spite of some initial skepticism on her part about taking a cooking class while on vacation, the day was the highlight of our trip for my daughter and for me. A great memory!

“wonderful culinary and cultural experience”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Two weeks ago we had an outstanding experience with a friendly and welcoming chef- Jean Marc Larrue.
It started with a fresh and a beautiful market at Avignon, the place that chef is getting his supplies for his great meal's. We got a great tour, with a lot of explanation's and also felt a little bit as a super star's, being around the chef (everyone smiled to him and greeted him).
After grabbing products we got a professional uniforms and started an interesting and full of professional information.
We spent an amazing time with the chef who is really a "peopleman", worm, simple, love to share with his experience of life and of course love to feed people. It was one of our best meals in Provence that we will never forget.
This experience is warmly recommended
