We stayed this weekend just gone 27-30th Sep and booked through Mr and Mrs Smith which was very hassle free. The hotel was very contemporary , no glitz and glamour but understated cool and chic.Apart from the gorgeous room with views out to sea, cute little beach and small heated infinity pool by the sea , the rooms were incredibly quiet which meant we had 3 nights of amazing sleep(child free)The food was excellent and very reasonably priced considering it is the South of France in a 5* Hotel. What made the whole experience so great were the staff. All of them were so friendly and helpful , a few cheeky waiters at the beach bar and senior management all mucking in to create a family run feel. What makes this review even greater is the fact that I haven't mentioned the weather was awful.Overcast Saturday ,a huge thunder and lightning storm on Sunday , but it didn't matter one bit we came home feeling relaxed and well looked after. We had 4 hours of glorious sun yesterday which was nice to leave on.We will definitely be going back

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the 200s or 300s so you have a view of the sea instead of a garden

We spent a night here courtesy of booking via Mr & Mrs Smith. We stayed in a Privilege Room (204) and had wonderful views over the sea and harbour.

The room was simply superb. Large, spacious and light with a private terrace. All the usual mod cons as you would expect plus a flask of port and Mignardises pastries for being Mr & Mrs Smith members. The bed was huge and really comfortable.

The seafront, bars and restaurants of Juan les Pins are all within walking distance. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. There is no buffet, it is table service with an excellent choice and just adds to the feeling of luxury you have here.

The pool is heated and open from early until late. There is also access to the beach from here as well.

Valet parking was also included which was an added bonus. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, we instantly regretted only booking one night as soon as we arrived!

Had a week here with our 2 girls aged 12 and 13. The hotel was fantastic - modern, clean, very quiet, amazing service and we had the best sleep ever in a quiet room with full blackout blinds and the most comfortable beds!

The beach service was fantastic and Jeremy (beach manager) could not do enough to keep us happy.

The south of France is crowded, full of traffic, a huge rip off and noisy at this time of year - this hotel was a haven from all of this and a fantastic relaxing holiday. We will be back!

Room Tip: We had a lower floor room - easy access to the pool

I recently spent 3 nights here for a mother-daughter trip. Hotel decor and ambience was beautiful and we loved the modern and spacious rooms with a terrace looking out towards the ocean.

However, we were disappointed and felt mislead by the hotel website in regards to their amenities. They describe a "private beach". This is simply not the case, it is private from the public area however anyone can come to the beach club for the day and pay to use the same chairs/facilities that we spent a lot of money to use. There was no separate private area for hotel guests and if we wanted to sit at the beach, we'd be squeezed in amongst hordes of families with screaming children. Additionally, the staff seemed confused when we requested specific seating (i.e. aisle seats) without a "reservation". There was absolutely no priority given to hotel guests in this regard. I complained to the front desk and asked that my concerns be forwarded to a manager, however no manager came to speak with me to amend the situation. As such, we spent most days at the nice but very small pool area. The servers at the pool were very friendly but not always available.

Additionally, this hotel seems to be geared towards locals and people with their own cars which I was not aware of. There was no shuttle or provided transportation into Antibes or Juan les Pins, they could call us a taxi to go but we had difficulty getting taxis to go home. There are no stores/cafes directly around or in the hotel so we felt very isolated and trapped into spending large amounts of money for meals and basic necessities like bottled water.

Lastly, our dinner at Les Pescheurs was extremely pretentious and overpriced. We were given attitude for asking prices of the fish (~200 for 2) and for not ordering a bottle of wine. Clearly, we can afford to stay at the hotel but we should not be made to feel bad for being price conscious.

As I said before, beautiful location and resort however did not live up to my expectations of a luxury relais & chateux property.

Dear Ari238,
I am extremely disappointed to hear about the service issues you experienced during your stay with us. Regarding our beach, I want to underline that we do have a private beach. To be very clear, due to the french law, we welcome external guests to the hotel like any other property in France & they pay their daily mattress. What you forgot to write is that for the hotel guests it is complimentary. You mattress were booked as you wished but you decided to change. We are 10 minutes walking distance from the center of Juan les Pins and 8 minutes from the first supermarket with plenty of restaurants & brasseries within La Pinède/Gould. You chose at Les Pêcheurs one fish from our trolley and the rate is given by 100gr/3,52 oz. Next to it, we propose some fish à la carte €48, €50, €56.
If you should be planning another trip to the French Riviera, please contact us if you have a moment. I would be honoured to discuss this experience with you.
With best regards

Just spent five nights as the first part of our honeymoon. Absolutely brilliant. The rooms are amazing (most comfortable beds ever slept in), food is great, staff are the most polite and helpful we have ever experience (special mention to Guillaume by the pool and quiet Fred) and we have loved every second.

Only gripe, and it's not a big issue, is that in reality, anyone can pay to use the beach and pool facilities, so the sun beds are crammed in, but we met so many nice people and had such a great time, it didn't matter.

Just a quick thing, the waiting staff here really are fabulous, a simple please and thank you doesn't cost anything. Too many guests (mostly russian) spoke to them as though they are amoebas, which didn't impress us...

Overall, top drawer, would defo return, and thanks to everyone there.

Incredible architecture, perfect concept with the wellness pool, massage cabins, restaurant Etc
Incredible rooms with nespresso machines with capsules every day.

The bathroom is excelent and very clean...

Regarding service ....

People are very friendly but they are not trained, I just arrived at the hotel and the person in the reception did not speak English so we couldn't communicate until they called the manager Jerome ,
He recommended a restaurant in jean les pins which I hated......

I think the hotel is almost ready to be perfect

People should be much more trained in service, in English specially in the pool and beach restaurant....

The manager called frank is excelent, he is always trying to make every experience incredible
Super friendly and very profesional
Helps you with every reservation
The problem is that if he is not there, the hotel is lacking in service

The food is very good, but when you have to wait 20 mins for a bottle of water in the middle of the summer is not very enjoyable

Relaix And chateaux is not synonymous of good service,

Dear Asltravelhigh,
Many thanks for visiting us and highlighting our architecture and bedrooms. I am sorry that you were disappointed with your arrival. It is true that every year, we train one junior staff per service because this is our future and after a couple of experiences abroad we hope to welcome them back. In the meantime, I am happy to read that you appreciated their flexibility & friendly skills.
I hope to welcome you back in the near future.

We spent three nights at the hotel in a 'privilege room' overlooking the Med. Our room was stylish and modern and we had an incredible view. It was my partner's birthday and to our surprise and delight, the team left a L'Occitane package in our room. It was a very kind thing to do. In fact you could not fault the service we received, from the General Manager who greeted us on our arrival, to the reception team and the amazing team who manage the beach. We are Kiwis and not used to the hustle and bustle of (sometimes insistent) Europeans jostling for beach chairs, but the guys pulled this off admirably while all the time ensuring everyone was 'fed and watered' throughout the day. And what a way to finish the day, enjoying a glass of rosé at the beach bar before eating on the waterfront. What more can I say except I thoroughly recommend Cap d'Antibes Beach Hotel without hesitation. They really make you feel special. We will be back!
