Im another reviewer expressing what a great location this is! We went to Ventimillia in Italy, Antibes, Juan Le Pins, Monaco, Biot. All these beautiful places (we didn't pay for the train once, so it was free travel) the train is easy and great, the bus is 1 euro to Biot or Antibes.
We went for nights out in Antibes and JLP and then taxi home at 3am was 20 euro.
We enjoyed the sun in the day, 2 euro for the pool with life guard was no problem, or the beach 10 mins away.
I went the bakery every morning it was lovely.
Our caravan was clean and tidy lovely garden area, when we ran out of gas it was replaced within 10 minutes. It had the free sky channels but with so much to do we didn't have time to watch it.
I highly recommend a day tip on 'kevins boat' great guy, great boat and such a good day out, I took 5 people who were not into boats/sea and they all loved it.
Yes alcohol is expensive it can be around 6 euro, but food is really reasonable and good food. We enjoyed cocktails on the sandy beach watching the sunset in JLP they were 15 euro each which is fine by me for a fantastic location and comfy couch on the sandy beach, and took a paddle in the sea. Then a walk round the shops which are open till midnight, then some great bars, try the tiki bar lots of great entertainment going on all night.
I tried the on site facilities, the bar was ok staff were really nice gave us advice on travelling and where to go. The pizzas are FANTASTIC 10 euro a pizza and they were great. Shop was reasonable, but as I say we went to Monaco and got the last train back, or went to more local towns, if you go to Biot you must get the last bus back, there are no taxis!
We didn't even get time to go the water park which is on the door step or the museums, so plenty to do next time.
I dont recommend a trip to Venti, I was very un-impressed. But highly recommend Juan Le Pins and Antibes old town and a day/afternoon trip to Biot and Kevin's boat. Go out to eat but don't drink and you will save money. Buy the 3 euro wine for back at your caravan. Just make sure you put on bug spray.
We are a couple in our 20s but had family with kids staying in another caravan who we spent most of our time with so I've put this review as family.
