The Crew Grapevine
Reviewed 22 February 2013

The Crew Grapevine was great, by far the best out of all the crew houses. The "manager" Jackie made sure that you were comfortable and happy at all times. The room I stayed in accomodated 4 people and it had 2 showers and one toilet to share. The rooms were great because they were private and secure. There are locks on all the doors that required a code, so I always felt like my things were safe(no one can leave the door unlocked). Thanks for the great stay.

The crewhouse is so warm and friendly, it is so professionally run and spotlessly clean
with free printing too! The
rooms are spacious, the linen clean the beds comfortable, On the rooftop there is a lovely terrace with spectacular sunsets over the old town.

I would strongly recommend staying here to anyone as Jason and Jenn who are the owners of the grapevine really do look after you and point you in the right or next direction. Once a week, there are sit downs with them to discuss all matters if your new or old in the Yachting Industry - from simple inductions to dock walking to even offshore bank accounts. There is a constant flow of different jobs going up on the 'job board' and if that's not enough the people staying there often have spare day jobs going too for anyone who is available as it can be very busy at times during the season.

Facilities are great with three people to a room at the sea-side and up to four at the port-side. You will have access to the internet, washing machines, tumble dryers and even a huge flat screen TV with terabytes of movies and series.

It doesn't matter if you have come down to do a further course or just get into the yachting industry the people that generally stay here are pretty much friends for life - I stayed here for 2 months in-between jobs in the Sea-Side Grapevine [Sea-side is obviously the best by the way] and I have definitely met the friendliest of people and people I will always stay in contact with.

I have to mention and say a special thank you to Heather [our house manager] for doing a fantastic job and putting up with us even though she loved it and all the best in the future.

We all socialise and even cooked together and will definitely come back to the Grapevine whenever I'm back in France, Antibes.

Thank you again to Jason, Jenn, Heather and Raph [the port-side manager] and all the best. See you soon.

Excellent location right by the agencies and the port, great networking opportunities. Really homely with great management, I dealt with Jason and Jenn (owners) and Raph who dealt with the day-to-day things and they all couldn't do enough for me. Highly recommended!

As soon as i stepped inside of the grapevine crewhouse i was greeted with a very friendly smile and welcome. Our crewhouse manager Raph was very helpful. Facilities were great with access to washing machines, tumble dryers, computers with internet and the creme de la creme was the fact of constant updates of job possibilities being put up on the blackboard in the crew mess. All the other guest were friendly and met lots of new buddies. Jason the owner of the crew house was great and arranged many different talks and soiree for us to go to and interact with other people.

Not a bad word to say about the place thoroughly enjoyed my stay !!
